Diaper Wishes and Baby Powder Dreams Chapter 5

Raven woke up and was very excited as he started his day.  He got to work getting all of the work he needed to do around the house.  Mowing, cleaning the house, that kind of boring stuff.  He got it all done as quick as he could so he could get himself ready.  He had a date tonight with a hot wolfess and he wanted to look to impress tonight.  He got himself all showered and  his fur fluffed out and brushed just the right way to make it shiny and fluffy.  He added that same cologne as yesterday.  He doubted it had helped seal the deal, but no way he was going to jinx that now if it did!  He then got out one of his suits, he was going to be dressed to the nines for sure! As he tied on the tie and looked back, taking a comb through his hair once last time, he smiled at his reflection.  "time to make magic!" he said out loud, snapping his fingers and heading out the door.

As he got to Lotus' home, he was actually early, maybe too early.  He was there about 20 minutes before he was supposed to be and so he waited another 10 minutes before getting to the door.  The butterflies were already in his stomach as he heard the footfalls of the wolfess.  Lotus opened the door to find this handsome fox standing in his nice suit, while holding a bouquet of roses.  She also noticed he had his jaw on the floor for what she was wearing.  Think Jessica Rabbit's dress, but in black!  "For you my dear!" "You look stunning!" he said to her as he handed her the flowers. "Why thank you, such a considerate little gentleman you are!" "You look very handsome tonight!" she said back.  As he offered his hand to her and gestured to the car "Shall we get on our way?" he asked.  Lotus grabbed his handpaw and they walked side by side to the car, the fox opening the door for her.  He then closed the door and headed on to his side before he headed downtown.  There was a fancy steakhouse in one of the hotels in town, and he had called ahead for a reservation for tonight.  

The dinner was delightful, the two talking and laughing and smiling at each other, their eyes hardly not making contact with the other.  They sipped champagne together and then enjoyed their dessert at the end before they left, holding arms with each other.  But as Lotus thought they were going back to the car, she was surprised that they were heading down the sidewalk.  This hotel just happened to be on a River and had a nice view at night on their riverwalk. Raven had a trick up his sleeve that he hadn't given away yet.  He had planned this out to make everything perfect.  "I've never met someone that makes me feel so happy to be around in a long time." he said as he turned towards her, her view facing the river behind him.  "I wanted to make this night as magical as I could." said the fox as his tail swished about excitedly. "Oh its been a wonderful evening my little fox." *WOOSH!* *BANG!*  Right as Lotus had finished speaking a fire cracker shot into the sky and burst into a bright star burst.  Then followed right after by another and another.  This is why Raven brought her down to the river walk, there was a fireworks show that was going to happen and the timing couldn't have been more perfect.

Lotus was watching with awe as the colorful display continue, Raven standing beside her, putting his arm around her and holding her close.  When the grand finale was going on, They both looked at each other and kissed in a passionate embrace as the sky erupted in fire, casting its glow down upon the two love struck individuals.  As they broke the embrace, Lotus was the first to speak.  She was looking down at the fox and had one of the biggest smiles he had seen on her yet.  "You are a sneaky little thing aren't you?" she asked him as Raven could only smile back and nod.  "Would you like to go back to my place for coffee?" she asked him. "I would be delighted to." he said as they headed to his car, arm in arm with each other.  As they returned to her home and went inside, it wasn't too much later when the two retired for the evening.  As the lights went out, it was clear that neither one was going to sleep alone tonight.

Raven felt himself being moved around.  His body felt as if it was floating and then landed softly on what felt like a pillow.  He felt tired still and so he paid it no mind.  As he drifted in and out of his dream state, the fog of sleepiness not relenting, he felt his legs lift up and get set back down.  Strangely he thought he could hear a muffled voice.  He tried to concentrate on that sound as something warm rubbed across his bottom. It felt comforting to him, but still that voice was becoming a bit clearer. The voice coming in almost like a melody, like someone was singing a song to him. He felt his legs get lifted again and then felt a gentle rush of something cold and light.  His nose sniffed the air and picked up a scent.  As it did he let out a soft murr, his mind knew that it was a good thing.  It was at this point he finally opened his eyes.  As he did so he felt something wrap around him and get secured around his waist.  He looked down in time to see his mommy cooing at him and picking him up in her arms.  "Is a sleepy little man finally awake?" she said as he nestled against her.  It was like the wheels finally started turning in his mind at this point.  He yawned and tried to say back good morning mama but all he ended up saying was "goo mow ba mama" before he remembered where he was.  

Unlike the previous times he had come back to this reality, he was much more calm now than the others.  If he was going to wake up in another place, here isn't half bad he thought.  Here he was cared for and was kept comfortable and happy.  So why fight it?  There was no need to fight to be anything else here.  I mean if you kept coming back to this existence and you couldn't win the fight either wouldn't you do the same and give in?  Thats what Raven was thinking by now.  Just give in to the pleasure and be a baby for his new mommy.  This time however things for his mommy were a bit different.  She set him down and seemed to be getting things together.  There was a bag beside him where she sat him.  It finally dawned on him that he was sitting on the changing table.  so the mystery of what was happening previously was easy to figure.  But why was she gathering up diapers and other supplies to put into this bag next to him?  Lotus then picked up Raven and the bag and carried them both over to the crib where she set the little fox down and put the bag on the floor.  She then went to the closet and came back with a onesie and gingerly but swiftly dressed the little kit.  She dressed him a light blue onesie that had a picture of a red button in the middle with the words "Cute as a" and an arrow pointing down to the button.  Lotus had to giggle at how cute the shirt was and how it looked on lil Raven as she snapped up the bottom snaps and scooped him up.  As she grabbed the diaper bag and headed into the living room, the mystery of what was going on was more clear.  A stroller sat unfolded and ready to roll out the front door.  Raven was going to be going outside.

As Lotus buckled him into the stroller she tickled his tummy a bit. "Mommy has to go to work today little one, but mama can't take you with her to work." "So mama wolf has found a nice place where her little foxy woxy can play and have fun today!" she said, her voice going up in inflection on the last couple words.  In a few short moments, Raven and Lotus went out the door and they were soon in front of the Li'l Kritters Daycare center.  Lotus rolled the stroller inside as a female lioness walked over to them both.  "Welcome to Li'l Kritters." "You must be Raven!" she said to the fox that was now being held in his mommy's arms. "I'm Miss Celani and we are going to have so much fun today!" she said to the bewildered kit.  Raven was beyond bewildered.  His cub side felt like it wanted run away and hide.  His adult mind was just curious as to what this new event was going to bring.  As Lotus handed him over to the lioness, along with the diaper bag, she smiled and gave Raven a kiss on the cheek. "Now you be a good boy for Miss Celani ok little one?" "I'm sure he will be well behaved." said the lioness as Lotus began to walk out the door. The lioness held Raven's paw and started to wave it. "Wave goodbye to mommy!"  she said in a cooing tone as the wolfess headed out.

As she disappeared from site, the lioness bounced the little kit in her arms and carried him into the nursery.  All around were little ones.  Most of them were waddling about, a couple were still crawling like Raven would be.  There were even a couple of young girls that seemed to be helping out the adults.  One of them was a young lioness, the other was a tigeress.  They both very quickly were interested in the fluffy white fox as Miss Celani carried him in.  "Oh look at the cute little fox!" said the tigeress.  Raven couldn't help but blush a little bit, his thumb somehow ending up in his maw.  Both of the the girls awwed at the site and Miss Celani sat him down on the playroom floor.  "Now girls, especially you Ashley," the older lioness looking at the younger lioness.  "I expect you to be good to our newest member of the li'l kritters family.  "We will mom!" said the younger lioness in reply.  Raven immediately knew why she was back here helping out.  The tigeress must have been her best friend.  Miss Celain left the kit as she went into another room to tend to the other kids and put up the diaper bag.  "What should we play first Ashley?" asked Nikki, the tigeress.  "Why don't we play dress up! Doesn't that sound like fun lil foxy?" said Ashley as she scooped him up and carried him as the young girls went over to another corner of the nursery.  

Raven thought he might as well go with the flow of things until the first item was brought out to dress him in.  "He tried to squirm and crawl away, but the two felines were far too big for him to get away from.  It wasn't long before Raven sat there whimpering as he was put into a pink baby dress, complete with bows in his hair, one on the back of the dress, and a large pink bow on his tail.  The young girls weren't rough with Raven, it was just embarrassing for him to be dressed like a girl.  Being a baby now was one thing, but being dressed as a girl on top of that was a blow to his fragile ego.  They played with the kit for what seemed like hours, Dressing him in one frilly outfit and then another.  As they were just finishing putting him into a pink sailor outfit, the girls heard "Ashley!" "Did you take another boy to play dolly with?"  There was Miss Celani, tapping her footpaw on the floor, looking rather displeased at her daughter and her friend Nikki.  The adult lioness waited as the two girls parted out of the way and there she saw Raven laying on his back as the top of the outfit has just been put on.  He was giggling by now.  Miss Celani even had to aww a bit.  He was cute dressed that way.  Raven's grownup mind however was screaming out for this to end.  Finally the older lioness picked him up and got him out of the girly outfit.  "Now you two girls clean up this while I go feed our new resident." The two girls nodded and Raven thought he could hear a giggle as he was carried away.  The girls knew they got a slap on the wrist.

Miss Celani, who's first name was Melanie, carried her charge over to a rocking chair and cradled him as she sat down. "Oh those two girls are a handful sometimes, but you seem to be happy about it!" she said as the kit was all smiles, cooing softly up to her.  "Well its time for your baba and then down for a nice nappy nap lil one." said Melanie as she gently placed the bottle to his lip and the kit began to nurse.  By the time he was burped and laid into a crib, he was already out cold.  Melanie gave him a kiss on the forehead as she tucked him under a blanket before leaving the young kit to slumber peacefully for his nap.
