It was another scorching hot summer day in Brisbane. Businessmen trudged slowly off to their daily grind and young cubs clung to their parents, awaiting their first adventures of their school holidays. For the university students, the stress of constant assignments and work had finally ended, allowing them to enjoy more time with their friends and family. For Ringo, the break from work didn’t exactly end. Despite his studies ending for the year, his work took the opportunity to take up most of his spare time, leaving him coming home to his family usually too tired to move. Luckily, today he had finally gotten most of the week to himself. And so he decided to take his little brother out for a day to see the new shopping mall. Of course he would have to wake up first... For the moment, the young Dragingo was enjoying his comfortable bed. Usually, he would be awoken from his slumber by his phone’s alarm rudely beeping in his ears. But in his first day off in a long time, he decided to let his aching body get some rest for once. Unfortunately, his peaceful sleep was interrupted by a heavy pressure applied to his belly. Ringo puffed out an “OOOF!” before he jolted up to see a small, fox cub looking up at him. The fox was tan-orange with the usual white paws and tail tip all foxes had. He was also dressed in a small t-shirt and elastic pants, a diaper poking out a little from underneath, ready for the day ahead. “Wiinnnngo! Wake uuuup!”, whined the little fox as he tugged at Ringo’s bed sheets, “Ya pwomised ya would take me out taday! Get uuuup!” Ringo rubbed his eyes for a moment and drowsily looked around his bedroom. “Skeebe?”, Ringo questioned the little fox. “Why did you wake me up?” “Cause you bein’ lazy!” the little fox grumped, pouting up at his big brother. “I wanna pway wif you, but ya always gotta wowk...I never get ta spend time wif ya.” The little fox suddenly clung to his big brother as tightly as he could, wrapping his small arms around his belly as far as they could go. “Awww...I know little bro.” Ringo yawned out as he petted the cub’s ears, making Skeebe waggle his tiny tail frantically, his diaper crinkling softly as a result. “But you know it’s because I gotta be a big kid and work right? I’m just a little tired is all” “I know...” The little cub grumped from under his brother’s bed sheets. Ringo smiled down at Skeebe, looking up at him with the big cute cubby eyes Skeebe always used to get his way. Ringo chuckled and picked up the little fox, setting him down on the floor. “Alright, alright, I’m getting up. Go play a little while I get ready alright?” The little fox perked up almost instantly, shouting out “KAY!” before he toddled out of Ringo’s room, his padding crinkling loudly. Ringo smiled a little before he slowly rose out of bed and trode towards the bathroom in only his favourite black boxer-shorts. He rubbed his eyes before turning the bathroom light on, the glare making him wince a little as his eyes adjusted to the light. Opening his eyes again, he saw his reflection staring back at him. A drowsy Dingo/Dragon Hybrid clad in only his boxers. His muscles were fairly toned from carrying things around at work, but being a fast-food restaurant, the discounted food had given him a small belly over the last year. Ringo had never seen any other fur like himself in the city. His had a typical canine face, but two small white horns protruded from his forehead between his blonde, spiky hair. Most of his body shared the traits of a Dingo’s too; Soft Tan-orange fur covering most of his body. However where a normal Dingo’s fur would usually turn white at the paws, Ringo had the soft, silky white scales of a Dragon instead. His tail was Dragon-shaped as well; despite a little fur around the base it. Finally he had the full-grown wings of a Dragon’s on his back, the same colour white as his tail and paws. After admiring himself in the mirror for a few moments, he slid his boxers down a little off his hips and let them drop to the floor before stepped out of them and heading into the shower for a quick soak. After a few minutes, he got out and dried off. Ringo headed back into the hall with only a towel around his waist, peeking quickly into Skeebe’s room to see him running around the room with his husky plush. Ringo ducked out of view and back to his room, slipping into a new pair of boxers, black jeans and a sky blue t-shirt with a black, button up shirt around it. “Skeebe!”, Ringo yelled out into the hall as he grabbed his keys. “Ready to go when you are!” He heard the gentle sound of little foot paws padding towards him and a soft crinkle as Skeebe ran past his room and down the steps as fast as the little Fox’s paws could carry him. Ringo followed behind, picking up the little Fox as soon as he caught up and taking him to his car. He set the giggling little cub in the booster seat and strapped him in the back, before strapping himself into the driver’s seat. As the car pulled out of the house and headed towards the city, Skeebe looked at his big brother and yipped out “Dis is gonna be da bestest day ever!” Ringo looked at Skeebe in the rear-view mirror and smiled back. “You know what lil bro?” He chuckled, “I think you’re right”
