First, some warnings:

Be warned that this is not only my first furry story it’s also my first story ever.

The reader is further warned that this story is going to contain gay sex, mind control, power exchange, conspiracies and a fair amount of paranoia.

There will be some straight sex in chapter five but it’s mostly incidental.

Also the story will follow the misadventures of Rei, a fox, from the ages of 6 until 18, therefore just about every chapter involves under age characters.

Consider yourself warned.

Second, some disclaimers:

The story revolves around a conspiracy by one group to disenfranchise, marginalise and otherwise oppress and enslave another group.  The two groups, except where explicitly stated, are not representative or derived from any group that exists, has existed or will exist.  I don’t want any one to say to me they know who I’m really talking about in this story.  It’s pure fiction, end of.

Third, about criticism:

This is my first story.  It’s also the first draft of my first story.

Updates are going to be a bit sporadic.  At my best I can do about a chapter a day, but I don’t have many days free and I’m rarely at my best.

I’m hoping to create a PDF version for the gallery once I’ve written and checked all the chapters.  I’ve got the plot for most of the story already - a few sections are a little thread bare - but at this point it’s mostly set in stone I just need to write it.

My computer catches all most all spelling mistakes but it’s not very good at proof reading.  If you think a section could do with being trimmed, fleshed out, rewritten or if you spot a grammatical error please let me know, leave a comment or PM me.  I can’t afford a proof reader so the more criticism the better - be brutal.

Just one thing, please don’t complain about the British spellings they are quite intentional.  Remember: colour is bright because it has ‘u’ in it.
