S: *It's an average day today, well maybe not sure average...because today is Emi's birthday! He's definitely very excited for this day... he is a shiny Squirtle with glasses tailored to fit his eyes, he just starts to wake up from his slumber, fully aware that today is his birthday...little does he know, he's gonna have an amazing day ahead of him!*

Emi - "ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!! WHOOOOO!!!!!"

L: He soon finds he's gotten a letter from his friend Blubby, which reads "Hi Emi! There's this cool shipwreck I found that we should explore together, the directions to get there are below. I'd like you to come as early as possible if that's alright, but don't worry if you don't see me, I'll probably already be down there. Hope to see you there! - Blubby" Directions to the shipwreck are written below the message.

S: "Blubby??? Man I haven't seen him in a while! I'm always up for an adventure, especially if it's my birthday! I better get going so I can catch him if possible!" *emi quickly gets out of bed, grabs a pair of swim goggles from his nightstand and runs out of his home, following the directions to where the shipwreck is located*

L: When Emi gets to the shore, Blubby is unfortunately nowhere to be found.

S: "Aww no... he's not here... oh well, I'm sure he's waiting for me at that shipwreck... time to take the plunge" *taking off his glasses and putting them away, emi puts on his pair of swim goggles and wades into the water, making sure to go far enough so he's right above the shipwreck... taking some deep breath of air and holding one in he submerges underwater, swimming down towards the shipwreck, getting there rather quickly thanks to being a water type, he's now floating just outside of it*

L: A few little bubbles occasionally rise from inside, but they're likely just trapped air that's finally escaping after who knows how long.

S: "Hmmm...." *he looks around for blubby but can't seem to find him, so he decides to swim inside to see if he's in there*

L: When Emi goes in, he can see several large bubbles held in place by rocks tied to them on strings, and a thin layer of air on the ceiling... And several of his friends come out of hiding!

Blubby, Sni-tii, Cirrus, Charmy, Squirt: "Sublrprblise! Hblappbly biblrthblday!"

S: "WHBLBOA!!!!" *this caught emi completely off guard, he blushes as well* "Whablt in thlerbl world?!?!"

L: Since Sni-tii can talk the clearest underwater, she explains. "We figublred we'd throblw you a surpblrise party for youblr birthday, and whblat better place foblr a party of watbler lovers than a shblipwreck?"

S: *squirt and charmy happily nod in agreement, wagging their tails as well*
"Thibls is unbelievabe! I lovblerbl this! Thank yoblubh guybls sobl much! Ib totablalrly didnl'blt serbl thiblgs comingb!"

L: Blubby wags his tail and happily nuzzles Emi. "Feblt liblke thblis wobluld ble abl peblrfeblct wably tblo meblet ublp wiblth yoblu agblain!"

S: *emi nuzzles blubby back, a big smile on his face as tiny bubbles escape his nose*
"Wblbow...."
Squirt - "Weblbve got abl lot planblbned for you bublbddy!"
Charmy - "Mmhm!"

L: Cirrus: "Anbld dobln't woblrry, thblis wrbleck ibls peblrfeblctlbly sablfe! Wble toblok soblme tiblme tblo seblt ublp loblts oblf aiblr soblurcbles!"

S: Emi - "Wblbell thatsbl gooblbd heh..."
*emi happily wags his own tail in delight, so happy about all this, although his excitement is draining his air supply, his face turning slightly red*

L: Cirrus grabs one of the tied down bubbles and passes it to Emi. "Blblubbly cablme ublp wiblth thblese onbles, thbley'rble liblke bablloblons!"

S: "Nicble! Cleavler idebla!" *emi takes the bubble and inhales it, his face returning to normal* "Sblo! What dobl you gblbuys havnle plannblbed forbl me?*

L: Blubby: "Fiblrst, thblerebl's abl reblallbly coblol trblick Ibl leblarnbled thblat'lbl mablke thblis evblen bebltteblr, coblme wiblth mble!" Blubby starts heading for a different room, Sni-tii and Cirrus following him.

S: "Whblbat coublbld thblis be?" *emi hurriedly follows blubby, cirrus and sni-tii... squirt and charmy follow too*

L: In this new room, there's no air sources around, but no one seems to mind. Sni-tii closes the door and nods to Blubby, who starts exhaling a huge bubble that gets bigger and bigger... Soon, it's big enough that everyone is pushed inside, and the water in the room is entirely forced out!

Blubby: "What do you think of that? Takes almost all my air, but now we can breathe!"

S: "What the?! Whoa!!! This is so cool! I didn't see this coming! It's like our own little air pocket space"
Squirt- "Haha! I thought this was pretty cool too!"
Charmy - "Hehe yeah!

L: Blubby: "Only figured this out a few days ago!"

Sni-tii: "I was just as surprised when I first saw him do this!"

Cirrus: "So, who here wants some pizza? And don't worry, the container it's in is waterproof. Charmy, could you heat it up for us?"

S: "Not a problem cirrus!" *charmy uses a weak flamethrower move to heat up the pizza, it smells heavenly...*

Emi - "Mmm! It looks so good!" *little did everyone else know is that, emi has had a slight crush on cirrus, he's never told anyone... but secretly he really like him...despite being like over a 100 years old, but age doesn't seem to matter to him... he has those signs of it when he's constantly looking at cirrus before drifting his attention to blubby*

L: Cirrus doesn't really notice Emi staring at him, and grabs a slice of pizza for himself. Blubby and Sni-tii do as well, with Blubby doing his best to clean off his paws before doing so, holding his slice surprisingly well for him being a quadruped.

S: *emi grabs a slide for himself, munching on it and sighing happily... Squirt and Charmy get theirs and eat it too, sitting down to get more comfortable... but as emi eats his pizza he's looking at cirrus again with dreamy eyes... ever since he first met him he's always had a crush on him for a while, but was too nervous to express his true feelings towards him... maybe later in this party he'll finally speak up*

L: Cirrus eventually notices Emi staring at him this time, and finishes his mouthful of pizza before speaking up. "What's up, Emi? You're staring at me..."

S: "Huh?? O-oh...n-nothing! It's nothing!" *emi tries to hide a blush that is forming on his face, taking another slice of pizza and eating it*

L: "Alright then..." Trying to hide that he knows something's up, he goes back to working on his pizza slice.

S: *he then thinks to himself* "Ugh! Eventually imma have to tell cirrus what's really happening...maybe later tho..." *after a couple of minutes the pizza is gone, emi looking at cirrus whenever he's not looking in his direction*

L: Cirrus is mostly looking around at the others, making sure everyone's having a good time. "So, next up..."

"...A breath holding contest! I, Blubby, and Sni-tii will be staying out of it, since we can all last so long, so it'll be just between you guys!"

S: Squirt - "Oooh! Yes! I've been waiting for this moment!"

Charmy - "Haha! Your gonna lose! I've been practicing!"

Emi - "Hey don't leave me out! I can hold my breath for a while too! I've got my own special techniques for staying calm!"

L: Sni-tii: "I did hear a while back that shiny Pokemon are better at that... Guess it's time to find out for sure!"

Blubby: "Alright, you've all got a couple minutes to get ready, then I'll suck all the air back in."

S: Squirt - "Sni-tii, I'm gonna win this for you!" *squirt starts taking some breathes to get himself ready*

Charmy - "Let's do this!! Haha!" *charmy giggles and starts preparing too*

Emi - "Bring it on!!" *emi prepares as well*

L: Sni-tii: "You've got this, Squirt!"

Cirrus: "Think you might be at a bit of a disadvantage here, Charmy... But, maybe you can win anyway!"

S: Charmy - "Don't underestimate me!!"

Squirt - "Oooh! I'm so scared of a fire type!"

L: Looking down at a stopwatch, Cirrus calls out "20 seconds left!"

S: Emi - "Oh boy!" *emi continues to prepare, trying to calm himself down while also trying to not think about cirrus...squirt and charmy seem ready to go already*

L: Cirrus pats Emi's head to help calm him down, not knowing it's likely making it worse. "Try to just relax and have a good time with it. Pretend you're just practicing in a pool, if that helps."

S: *when cirrus pats emi's head, he gets even more nervous, and starts to blush as well... but he quickly responds with* "Thanks cirrus..."

Squirt - "Come on! Let's do this already!!

Charmy - "Yeah!"

L: Cirrus lays down on the floor nearby and starts up the countdown. "5, 4, 3, 2, 1..."

S: *at the same time, all 3 pokemon take in a deep breath of air and hold it in, waiting to be submerged in the water*

L: Cirrus and Sni-tii each hold their breath as well, and Blubby starts sucking the room's air back in, quickly returning it to its previously flooded state.

S: *everyone is submerged, and the pokemon trio all sit together in the room, holding their breath and looking at each other with determination*

L: Cirrus switches the stopwatch to start counting up, and watches the three Pokemon. Blubby sits down, and Sni-tii coils herself up, both watching as well.

S: *emi pinches his nose shut and closes his eyes to relax... charmy lays down to get more comfortable and squirt pinches his nose as well, barely any bubbles escape our trio*

L: Quite some time passes as everyone calmly holds their breath, the only sounds audible being the occasional singular bubble.

S: *as emi focuses on his breath holding, his mind starts drifting towards cirrus again, and he's trying to block it out, causing some bubbles to escape his mouth... meanwhile, barely any bubbles escape charmy while squirt let's loose of a few bubbles to help ease his lungs*

L: Everyone else is still doing just fine, perfectly calm even after all the time that's passed.

S: *time ticks away, it's been 11 minutes in total now and squirt is just now starting to feel the need to breathe first... his face red and grunting a little bit as his eyes squeeze shut... charmy is also growing a tad bit red, bubbles finally escaping her.... but emi is still calm, blow bubbles almost casually now, his cheeks just a tiniest shade of red*

L: Sni-tii: "Hblang in there, Squblirt..."

Cirrus stays quiet, but smiles at Emi, and Blubby looks between all three, wondering when he'll need to give someone air.

S: Squirt - "Imblb....tblbrying..." *he tries to hang in there and keep his breath held tight, but his red face continues spread across his face, covering both his mouth and nose now... meanwhile charmy's face grows more red as well, but is still calm... emi's cheeks turn red but is determined to stay calm too, secretly wanting to win this for cirrus as he briefly looks at him with a smile*

L: Cirrus gives Emi a nod as they look at him. "Yoblu goblt thblis, Embli."

Now pretty much certain who will need air first, Blubby moves to sit next to Squirt, now focusing on them.

S: *squirt looks at blubby and thinks to himself*
Squirt - "No...I can't give up already! Focus...FOCUS!!!!" *he shuts his eyes again and keeps his nose and mouth covered... charmy looks over at squirt with a bubbly giggle, knowing squirt will be out first soon... a slight grunt of strain is heard from charmy as well, but is still pretty calm... meanwhile emi's face is fully red because the thoughts of cirrus consume him, causing bubbles to escape, now covering his own nose and mouth*

L: Blubby: "Mablke sublre tblo asblk foblr aiblr beblforble yoblu rubln oublt oblf brbleatblh..."

Sni-tii: "You cabln do it, Squirt! Yoblu can at leablst get second!"

S: *squirt tries his hardest to calm down... he and emi look to be neck and neck now by who's getting last, with emi in a lead, but as time passes on squirt can't handle it anymore... his face bluer then normal then looking at blubby as he clearly needs air*

L: Blubby nods, then blows a bubble for Squirt to breathe. "Ablt leblast yoblu dibld prblettbly webll."

S: *squirt inhales the bubble then sighs disappointingly*
Squirt - "Awblb nutbls! I blblost! Ohbl well"
*now its down between charmy and emi, despite emi having a fully red face he's still very calm, charmy's face turns fully red too as well as she pinches her nose shut*

L: Sni-tii slithers over and gives Squirt a hug. "Well, at leblast you tried yoblur best."

Blubby goes back next to Cirrus again, watching the two remaining competitors.

S: *squirt hugs sni-tii back and kisses her*

*meanwhile, charmy and emi growl in determination... more time passes by as the two keep holding their breath, 20 minutes in total, this time emi puffs his cheeks up to store some remaining air in them... charmy however is getting close to her limit, looking around nervously as her face is bright blue while emi focuses on his breath more, although his mind is still hazing around cirrus*

L: Cirrus smiles down at the stopwatch as Charmy and Emi pass the 20 minute mark.

Sni-tii: "Maybe shblinies really are bebltter at this..."

S: *as charmy begins to whimper and whine she turns her gaze to blubby, not wanting to inhale water as her face is more blue*

L: Blubby quickly comes over to Charmy and blows a bubble for her as well. "Seblconbld plblace ibls stblill prblettbly goblod!"

S: *charmy inhales the bubble and sighs*
Charmy - "Dblarn it!"

Emi - "I WBLBIN!!!! MMMM!!!" *after that celebration I cover my mouth quickly, needing air as well*

L: Blubby gives Emi a bubble as well. "Goblod jobl!"

Cirrus: "Niblce thblat thble biblrthblday bobly hblappblens tblo ble thble wiblnneblr!"

S: *emi inhales the bubble and giggles a bit at what cirrus said, growing more in love with him by the minute, and it looks like he will reveal his true feelings soon...*

Squirt - "GG embli"

Charmy - "Ybleah, GG..."

Emi - "Heheblbl!"

L: Sni-tii: "Alrighblt, Blubby, give ubls some breathbling room... Pun intenblded." Blubby starts exhaling again, soon drying off the room for a second time.

S: *everyone gasps in the air*
Emi - "Phew! That was fun!!"

Squirt - "Super fun! Even tho I got last place"

Charmy - "You put up a good fight emi, I'm very shocked I lost to you, heh"

L: Blubby: "It always impresses me how a fire type can do so well underwater..."

Sni-tii: "Glad you at least had fun, Squirt!"

Cirrus: "That looked like it was getting pretty close near the end!"

S: Emi - "I thought for sure I was gonna lose, because....well.....n-nevermind! Point is that I won!"

Charmy - "Hehe... well honestly even I don't know how I could handle water so well, I guess it was a gift from the universe"

Squirt - "Maybe so..."

L: Cirrus: "Well, how about some presents now? Don't worry, it's all waterproof, they'll do just fine when you head outside again."

S: Emi - "Presents?! Oooh yes now we're talking! Haha!"

Squirt - "Alright sounds good!"

Charmy - "Ok!"

L: The presents are all given and opened, and all enjoyed by Emi.

S: *after the last present was opened, it became pretty clear that emi can't hold his love secret for cirrus any longer... so he walks over to cirrus with a blushing face*

Emi - "C-cirrus? C-can I talk to you for a second?"

L: Cirrus: "I wanted to talk to you too, actually. Do you want this to be private? We can head up to the surface real quick."

S: "Y-you wanted to talk to me too? W-wow, alright yeah I want this private, let's go to the surface"

L: Cirrus: "Alright, let's go. Does mean we're gonna have to flood the room for a sec, though."

Blubby gives everyone a chance to get ready before inhaling all the air again, and after that Cirrus heads through the door with Emi.

S: *thankfully everyone got prepared before the room flooded for a brief moment, emi swims with cirrus to the surface, breaking it quickly as they exhale their air*
"S-so...i-i guess should I go first o-or you?"

L: "My thing probably relates to yours... I can tell you've trying to hide something. I don't know what it is, but there's something. You HAVE been enjoying the party, right?"

S: "What kind of question is that?? Of course I like the party! It's amazing!! But... h-honestly what I'm hiding....has to do with you..
 I've just been too shy to say it, until...well right now....and that thing is..." *he takes a deep breath and let's it out slowly* "I....i....have a big crush on you..." *emi immediately turns away from cirrus, unsure how he will react*

L: Cirrus goes silent for a few seconds, blushing... "...I like you too, actually! I've been sort of trying to hide it myself, but it looks like I don't have to any more!"

S: *emi's eyes go wide for a second, turning around to face cirrus* "What!? You serious?? Y-you like me too? There's no way..." *he then blushes more*

L: "I do! Ever since I first saw you, I've been trying to figure out the best way to say it!"

S: "I can't believe this... we had the same feelings for each other... this baffles my mind! I-i really love you cirrus..." *emi smiles shyly at him, coming a little closer to cirrus's body*

L: Cirrus happily hugs Emi. "I love you too, Emi!"

S: *blushing emi hugs him back, then with some confidence gives a kiss to cirrus's cheek happily, blushing afterwards*

L: After returning the kiss, Cirrus looks down at the shipwreck. "We probably shouldn't keep the others waiting for long, even though there isn't a whole lot still planned now."

S: "Yeah, I guess... so um, are we gonna become a thing...together? Cause that's always been my dream... and I wanna tell everyone down there about it, hehe..." *he gives cirrus another hug*

L: "Well, since you want to, yeah! Guess Sni-tii and Squirt aren't gonna be the only ones any more!"

S: "Awesome!! Thank you cirrus!! Sni-tii and squirt are gonna be shocked!" *emi give a kiss to cirrus's lips to finalize it* "Alright, let's head back down and tell everyone the news!"

L: Cirrus gets a breath, giving a chance for Emi to do the same, then heads back down to the wreck with him. He knocks on the door leading to the room everyone's in, and after a few seconds it's opened. Cirrus and Emi go in, the door is closed again, and the room's air is refilled.

S: Squirt - "Your back!"

Charmy - "So what did you guys talk about hmm?"

Emi - "Hehehe... well, me and cirrus expressed our feelings to each other and..." *emi holds cirrus's paw* "We're a couple now! And we're gonna start dating!"

L: Sni-tii: "Woah, really? That's awesome!"

Cirrus: "Yep! You and Squirt aren't the only couple in this group any more!"

Blubby: "Good for you guys!"

S: Squirt - "Whaaa??? No way that's amazing!"

Charmy - "So cool! I'm very happy for you both!"

Emi - "Hehe!" *he kisses cirrus again*

L: Cirrus kisses Emi back. "So... I don't remember if we had anything else planned for the party today. Anyone remember, or have we done everything?"

S: Squirt - "I believe we've done everything"

Charmy- "Yeah me too"

L: Blubby: "Yep, that's everything done."

Sni-tii: "Definitely."

Cirrus: "Alright then! Let's all head back up to the surface." After the usual inhaling of all the air, the door is opened and everyone heads to the surface, Cirrus carrying Blubby and Sni-tii.

S: *thankfully everyone makes it back up no problem, gasping in the fresh air when they get up there*

Squirt - "Ahhh fresh air I missed you so much..."

Charmy - "Yeah..."

L: Sni-tii: "Yeah, it was getting a bit stuffy in there."

Blubby: "Well, air gets used up eventually. Stayed fine for longer than I expected, though."

Cirrus starts heading back to shore with Blubby and Sni-tii. "I probably could've brought down some more air if we ended up needing it."

S: Emi - "Maybe, but thank you guys so much for the party! It was awesome! All of you guys are awesome!"

L: Cirrus: "No problem! It was really cool to have a party underwater, I've never done that before!"

Blubby: "Same here! Gave me a good chance to try out that bubble trick, too."

Sni-tii: "I'd be down for another party like that sometime, that was fun!"

S: Squirt - "Totally! I'll have to get Glacier and lucky to come to one next time, too bad they were off doing their own thing heh"

Charmy - "Yeah they truly missed out on a fun day!"

Emi - "Hehe!"

L: Soon, everyone is back on shore, Blubby and Sni-tii disembarking from Cirrus.

S: "Ahh what a great day! Got a new boyfriend and got to have the best day ever with all my friends!"

L: Sni-tii: "Still almost can't believe that, I really had no idea..."

Cirrus: "Ha, I didn't really see it coming either! I was sort of worried it was a one-sided thing..." He gives Emi another kiss.

S: "I thought it was a one sided thing too honestly!" *emi kisses cirrus back*

L: Blubby: "Well, you two have fun together, I'm gonna head out now. And again, happy birthday Emi!"

S: "Thank you blubby, thank you all so much!" *emi happily hugs everyone*

Squirt - "No problem!"

Charmy - "see ya later!"

*and so ends a successful party, with emi getting a new boyfriend*
