A world emblazed in life

I open the blinds to let in the day; a great joy has come into the world.
I see a bright beacon in the eyes of my lover even in her condition,
A sleepless night has paled her skin but not dimmed her flame.
When I think there couldn't be anything more dazzling than the sight of my love
The child is placed into my arms, I stupidly grin at this little bundle.
My wife faced the pain and fear to bring in a baby 
Our love is as guaranteed as finding sand in the desert or water in the sea.
This babe is our unity given animation and what it becomes is based on our choices. 
Each story exists as we all go forth starting at a different home and time
But where we end and how we get there well that's the game of life.
