Jaib Tsacoom. Even the most wisest of Jedi Masters would only whisper the name and for a good reason. For it was the prison of one of the most notorious Jedi Masters that have ever graced the Temple's halls. As a history buff, Abilash Momeni longed to find that fabled prison and see for himself the secrets that place might hold within. Even amongst the countless Jedi-built structures out there, that place was nothing what Momeni has expected to learn about. A bunch of floating structures made of rock floating in the void, supposedly via powerful applications of the Force. But since it was a closely guarded secret, nobody knows the exact coordinates to the place and thanks to the destruction of the Jedi Temple during the twilight years of the Old Republic, it's likely any and all records went along with it. Suddenly, comm sprung to life opened interrupting his studies. He was relieved to see it was only Poe Dameron. A hero of the First Order Wars, Poe first met Momeni a year after the war's denounement. Ever since that chance meeting a bar, they've been in a close contact with Poe telling him war stories and Momeni telling him about his current pursuits in turn. - So, how's it going Momi? Poe asked. - Doing fine myself, thank you for asking. Momeni replied back. - How's your studies going? - Not too bad. Just recently I came across a quite fascinating subject if I say so myself. - And that is? - Well, as you know there's tons of ancient Jedi sites throughout the galaxy. But none's as fascinating or mysterious as a prison said to have been the final resting place of a notorious Jedi Master of an age long past. In life, he wanted knowledge beyond what the Order taught him. The other Masters of the era, afraid of the temptations that forbidden knowledge would bring, banished him to a secret prison for life. His name and deeds struck from the records, his legend has since then been an endless source of fascination. - And if this Jedi Master and the prison are real, what do you hope to find there? - Besides his skeleton, I suppose it might contain evidence of the various experiments he has done during his captivity. And last but not least, breathtaking vistas. For you see, that prison is supposedly composed of these huge stone structures suspended in the void, the mechanisms of which would be of great intrigue. Momeni took a sip of coffee laced with milk before continuing. - In any case, this is but one of the many galactic legends I'm planning to implement into my thesis. - Good luck in your quest. In the meantime, I have to go back and tend my fathier. Still cannot understand why Finn insisted to gift it to me... Poe then ended the call. Feeling tired, Momeni ended his studies for the day and went to bed. The next morning, Momeni went to town for supplies. As small as his village was, located on the shores of beautiful Lake Rinai in the planet of Matar, Momeni was happy living here. Well, happier than his uncle at least who for reasons unknown moved to Tatooine. At the market, Momeni happened be there at the same time as his old childhood friend Kaysi Araddi. A diligent person by nature, she was the one Momeni often sought help in difficult situations. - Well, well, well. This is quite the surprise. Kaysi said upon spotting Momeni. - Kaysi, is that really you? How did you recognize me? - Simple, you're still wearing the necklace my aunt made for you as a 'goocl luck' charm. - Oh yeah, that. She was quite capable with his hands. The two old friends decided to sit down at a nearby diner with both deciding to order Naboo-style steak. - So, what have you been doing these days Momi? - Believe it or not, I'm in fact an university student now. Well, against my father's wishes but still. I have in fact advanced far enough that I've been working on a thesis. - So you're hoping to become a doctor soon, correct? - Yep, being a learned person has been my lifelong passion. As for the subject, I've been studying the history of ancient Jedi sites throughout the galaxy. - Let's hope your thesis will get excellent grades in that case. And speaking of Jedi, it turns out my nephew appears to have some sensitivity with the Force. The news of this almost caused Momeni to choke on his steak. - What, are you for real? Momeni blurted out. - Yes. According to the testers at any rate. We're in fact about to compose a letter to Lady Rey relatively soon in hopes of him becoming a padawan. According to the genealogy, the last time a Jedi emerged in our family was eleven generations ago. - This definitely calls for a celebration. Ah well, it was nice meeting ya after such a long time. I'll have to go back and continue my studies. I hope to see you again real soon! - Same here, Momi. The two friends finished their steaks and then went their separate ways.
