"Done." The young gray wolf looked at his newest piece of work. "I'd like to see Tinsel try and top THIS!" Young Prometheus Echo, one of the most successful singers in Andurunan music history, was ready to release his next big hit. His rival and his equal, the talented but amateurish Tinsel Nanaja has been biting at his heels since she started her career at the mere age of eight, five years ago. Prometheus started at age 15, but he had a distinct advantage compared to Nanaja. Several months after his birth in 1193, doctors and scientists from every district were intrigued by a peculiar condition. After two months since birth, Prometheus was already speaking. Five months since birth, he was already writing perfect language. Five years since birth, he had the mindset of a junior high schooler. For the years that Prometheus became a science experiment, scientists could not determine if he had the most rare Power of them all or if this was just a natural gift. For ages, scientists could not determine if psychokinesis was a Power or a natural ability. Because it is so rare to find such an individual, it has been difficult to come to a conclusion. His maturity and intelligence has tripled the normal rate than any other child. At 10 years old, he had the mind of a 25-year-old. However, his rate of maturity slowly became normal through his tenth year. By the time he turned eleven, his rate of gathering knowledge had normalized completely. Regardless of any opinions or scrutiny, Prometheus was, by average standards, the smartest and most mature child in recorded history. At around age 15, he became a rookie quake singer, gaining the attention of many record labels who were interested in his choice of a first career. After only a single year, his first album sold over five million copies. A couple years later, Prometheus's mother gives birth to a daughter named Sabba. In an effort to keep her safe from the public or political eye, she remained a secret the moment they took her home from the hospital. Half a year later, both parents had died in a freak accident at a Talocan farmer's market. Because of his maturity, despite his age, Prometheus was given legal permission to care for his baby sister. Of course, caring for a baby was easier said than done when you're always stuck at the recording studio or attending talk show segments. Baby-sitting was a regular occurrence and the money Prometheus paid would ensure the baby-sitter's would keep quiet about his sister's existence. Around the start of his own music career, a young girl named Tinsel Nanaja, who had already amassed some accolades of her own, began a music career as an 8-year-old singing cutie. She was a multiple beauty pageant winner, a phenomenon in advertising, and a major child movie star in only a few short years. However, her singing during all these other accomplishments was what really got everyone's attention. Since then, The Pro (or simply Pro, which he likes to be known as) and Tinsel became heated opponents in the music industry. As Tinsel became older (and smarter, which came with the importance of the business), she took on Ranch and Hood, while Pro stuck with Quake. As the years ticked by, Tinsel decided to follow Pro's strategy and started singing only Hood. After five long years, Pro and Tinsel had met each other's matches. They were both extraordinarily famous, though many claim that Pro's history as a government project is what makes him more special than Tinsel and her youthful charms. Many claim that his choice with Quake and the themes of his music reflect the pain and anguish he experienced back then. Of course, that really wasn't the case. His music simply reflected the high crime rates and infractions that seemed to have been growing for the past couple of decades. But, this recently made song that he was looking over, would be a reflection of himself. But also, a reflection of one of Tinsel's most recent works. 'I Am Unnoticeable.' Heh, well, let's see who's self-absorbed song brings in the most cash,' Pro thought. Placing the song and other paperwork in a briefcase, he walked out of his personal studio in his mansion home. As he walked down the stairs to the main hall, someone knocked on his front door. Pro sighed. 'Oh boy, he must already be here.' Reluctantly, Pro opened the door. Instantly, he was smothered in a huge hug by a fat, green cat. "Promyyy! My friend! It has been so long since I've seen you! Heyh ha HA HA HAHAHAAA!" "Heh, uh, yeah. Good to see you, too, Louie." Louie Garverson wouldn't be your first pick for a baby-sitter, but he was there as a last resort. Still, not an ideal baby-sitter since... he really isn't clear in the head. Not only is he somewhat retarded, but he also tends to run like an alarm clock. As soon as the clock reaches a specific time, Louie stops whatever he's doing and starts doing what his mind is focused on at the specific time. If he arranges to do something at a certain pint in time, his brain instantly starts thinking of that activity when the time comes, making him the least favorite baby-sitter. Unfortunately, he's the only available baby-sitter in the Talocan district. "Oh boy, I just can't WAIT to hear your newest song, Promo!" "Uh, right. As if you even listen to Quake." "Oh, Prony! You're so funny, sometimes! We need to do more stuff together sometime! Okay?" "Yeeeah. Sure, Louie. Listen, I've got to go for a few hours. I'm singing my latest song at a concert tonight and I've gotta get these revised lyrics to my supervisor pronto. I'll try to be back by 8 P.M. And, please... try not to think of anything else to do that'll make you run off. I won't have Sabba be left alone. You hear me?" Like a little kid, he saluted and said, "Sir, yes sir!" Pro simply stared at him, then he ran out the door as quickly as possible. Closing it behind him, he rubbed his forehead. 'I have GOT to find someone else in the next few days. That idiot is gonna do something stupid, I just KNOW it!' He walked down the walkway to his waiting carriage. "Where to, sir?" said the rider. "Sabbaton Towers," Pro replied. The carriage made its way down the road and through the main gates. As it went through the suburbs, Pro looked out the side to see the impressive Sabbaton Towers, lighting up as the sun was setting. Pro would not believe what he would experience when he reached his destination. ********************************************************************************
