Dear Journal, It has truly begun. Trident has been called to Bralgu by Nabonidus himself to discuss the matter regarding Jerome. I am certain Nabonidus has been holding back for the right moment to strike Jerome down. Yet, despite this time in his rebellion against the gods, I am not sure whether Trident has requested for this meeting with the Nightmare overlord or if the children's efforts in the Third War, as the currently involved sentients are referring it to, have provoked the Dark Lord to summon Trident. If Trident requested for an audience with Nabonidus, why would he choose to consider the Lord's tactic after we have lost two of our closest kin? It is now clear that he is not thinking about the possibility of failure, should the Ring Of All fail to obey him. Should that happen, all of his efforts for the number of years that he has possessed this item would mean nothing. And I dare not try to imagine the state of his psyche, should the First Halo fail him. Now, with the First Halo acting as a source of infinite power, he has become more powerful than when I had first known him. Now, he has become even more powerful since I learned of his all-powerful relic many months ago. Realizing that the First Halo is capable of anything, I feel that it is only a matter of time before Trident destroys Nabonidus and the Nightmares. In order to lessen any chances of outside interference, if that is the reason. After that, he will have to face Jerome, who is rapidly closing in. From the Dune Sea, I assume. It won't be long now until Trident is fully prepared to show the world what he intends to do with it. I can only stand by and watch in my angered silence. And during whatever chaos that ensues in the aftermath, I shall remember what I told the poor soul, Mephisto. We are what we are. Hell Hybrids.
