Dear Journal,

While I have no reason to doubt that Manticore will succeed in his mission, I also have no reason to doubt that he will fail. And, the loss of his life will be the punishment for his failure.

I have already suspected that Trident is more than ready to unveil his plan. He is using something. I cannot possibly imagine what it could be, but it is fueling his Power somehow.

Even with so many years of rigorous training to perfect his Power, I see no way that he could've possessed the minds of the Akbarel citizens all at once.

This fact has led me to believe that Trident is using some kind of a mystical artifact to strengthen himself to limits beyond his reach. I can only ponder at this accusation, as I am unsure if this is possible. Perhaps, he is receiving Power from Nabonidus. 

I know that he will not tell me directly. If I know as well as I do, he is expecting me to announce the subject anytime now. 

And so, I shall find him and see just what exactly he is doing to make himself so powerful.
