Dear Journal, It would seem that fate has determined the purpose of our existence. As I write this, I am sorry to say that we have joined the Nightmare hordes. I never, in all of my years, ever wanted to side with our mortal enemies. However, it was either join them or be killed by my own family that I have cherished for so many years. Jerome is, no doubt, following us. He will not rest until he has put us all down. Trident should have at least asked Jerome to join us before hastily attempting to kill his own son. It was all beyond my control. I am just an old man. An old man who has never learned what his Power is or how to use it. An old man who is tired and unsatisfied with this sudden turn of events. An old man who never believed that his only family would do this. An old man who could not believe that they have all committed suicide. Because, Jerome is immortal. And, he will never stop until he has defeated us. Nabonidus seems to have a plan to be rid of Jerome and he believes Jerome will be joining a small group of adolescent Andurnans that he has been trying to kill for the past week. Though, we know that Jerome is immune to death in various ways, we don't quite know the extent of his immortality. We cannot even predict how Nabonidus's plan will destroy Jerome. But, he seems to be confident in his course of action. It is rare for Nabonidus to ever be unsure about his own plans. I cannot predict the future. But, I do feel that, despite Nabonidus's plan, we Hybrids will still suffer Jerome's wrath. It is only a matter of time. And, Trident plans to send each one of us out into the world to halt any forward progress to Nabonidus's young enemies. And, of course, slow down Jerome, as well. Now, we're hiding out in the Dune Sea, in between Starfall Mountains and Alchera Ocean. Trident has sent our first hunter to fight Jerome. Now, I can only hope for the best out of all this. Now, I can only hope...
