Previously on Galarian Days... With all three anthros having been gathered together, Sophia suggests they decide a group name for the group, but the subject is halted as the Champion's Cup is finally over, and Chairperson Elle announces the arrival of the Miniasma project in three days... - "So, this is what Elle's been cooking up," Zander said as he and the others just finished watching the video feed of the announcement in Wyndon Stadium. "She was sucking the Galar particles out of most of Galar to create the Dynamiasmas for us to destroy-" "-and then use the remains of the Dynamiasmas to create these baby versions called Miniasmas," Wufu carried on. "Which she's planning to release in three days to participate in Poke Jobs," Sophia continued, "but it'll only oust the Pokemon hires and leave them with no income of Poke, experience points or items, so they won't be able to provide basic nessecities for themselves or their trainers!" "Well," Calvin said, trying to absorb the information as best as he could, "when you put it like that, it makes this Elle person sound like a proud clod." "BECAUSE SHE IS!!!" "Hey! No need to get snippy!" "Yes there is!" Zander said. "Because with every step Elle and Turner take forward in their plans, it means we're backsliding on our mission!" "But, the joke's on them!" Wufu said. "Before we were escorted out by two of her grunts, she disclosed that she had a plan to put the Power Spots back in commission. And so far, only one place in Galar hasn't been drained of Galar particles just yet... as far as we know." "Right! Because if everywhere else was shut down, obviously she'd have to collect Galar particles from the one place to put a little bit back into each Power Spot, but doing so would cause the opposite crisis we were chosen to stop!" "And, if no one minds my asking," Sophia cut in, "where exactly is this one place we need to keep Elle from taking Galar particles out of?" "I think I know what it is," Peony said with budding realization, "and, as luck would have it, that's where my daughter is right now! We have to get to the Max Lair, and fast!" With the group's new goal fresh in their minds, they hurried as fast as they could on the way to the Max Lair. But, just as they were ascending the hill out of Freezerton, the train had just pulled up to the Crown Tundra Station, signaled by the hissing of steam brakes. "That must be them now," Zander said. "Sophia, here's the plan. You go with Peony into the Max Lair. The rest of us will handle Elle and Turner." "How, exactly?" Sophia asked. "And what exactly will she do once she's in the Max Lair?" Calvin piled on. "She'll be able to keep herself safe, and maybe get to meet my daughter," Peony suggested. "Something tells me the two of you would get along just fine." "Besides, out of the whole lot of us, we three messengers have the best chance against Elle and Turner, even though we don't know what they're fully capable of," Wufu said. "And we've really come to like having you around, Sophia." "Aw, thanks." "Now go!" Zander urged. "We have to stop Elle and Turner here and now, or she'll suck the Galar particles out of the Max Lair and cause the opposite crisis!" "Right!" Peony said. "Come on, Sophia!" "Wait!" Sophia said before tossing Zander a paper plate and plastic fork. "You'll need these, then!" Zander grabbed the dishes, and they became his weapons. "Thanks!" As Sophia and Peony hurried into the Max Lair, two figures were walking out of the station... one in black, one in white. Zander, Wufu and Calvin hurried up towards the figures, and their suspicions were confirmed: it was Elle and Turner! "Ooh, Zander! Fancy seeing you here! And you even brought friends!" "Indeed," Turner said. "And now, if you will excuse us, miss Elle and I have some pressing matters to attend to right now." "Oh, we know what 'pressing matters' you two are talking about!" Zander said as he and the others stood their ground. "Just like all the other 'pressing matters' you attended to throughout the rest of Galar!" Wufu added. "But now we're pressing back!" Calvin wrapped up. "And you're not getting your silk-gloved mitts on our Galar particles if we have anything to say about it!" "What are you-" Elle said, but then caught herself and added, "Oh, I see the confusion here, but I can assure you, my intentions are nothing but good! I thought I told you back at the Cup finals, Zander. I have no reason to drain all of Galar of its Galar particles. I just need to gather just enough of them to put back into the Power Spots and Pokemon Dens I took them out of." "Did you honestly think miss Elle would deprive our region of a valuable resource and not return what she owed?" Turner challenged. "Don't try to distract us with reasoning!" Zander asserted. "You drained a whole fat lot of spots and dens of their energy, and we're just supposed to believe you can gather enough to put it all back!?" Wufu shot as he clenched his fists tightly. "This is the last source of Galar particles in all of Galar!" Calvin pressed. "You take that away, and the whole region won't have anything left, and niether we nor the legendary Pokemon who chose us wil stand for it one bit!" "Come now, Zander," Turner said. "We explained to you how progress works back at Wyndon Stadium." "You three aren't seriously going to get in our way knowing full well what we can do," Elle said, "are you?" "Yes, we are," all three anthros said together, clearly unwilling to be swayed. Both Elle and Turner looked at their obstacles, then at each other, until... "Oh, well," Elle said. "We tried." "Indeed, miss Elle," Turner agreed. "Niether wolf nor bear nor deer will listen to our pleas, so for the sake of amnesty, we have no choice but to submit." "What a fabulous idea, Turner," Elle said as she and Turner turned back around towards the station. "You and your friends win, Zander. We won't come back here ever again. Okrrr?" As the chairperson and concierge returned into the station for the train to pick them up, the three anthros stood dumbfounded at the outcome. "Uh... what just happened?" Calvin finally said. "I have no idea," Wufu said. "Well, I don't buy it," Zander said as his weapons disappeared without getting any use. "They gave up too easily for there not to be some kind of trick going on. Either way, we better meet back up with Sophia and the others." And so, the wolf made his way back to the Max Lair, with the bear and deer following close by... - Meanwhile, back on the train, Elle and Turner were sitting across from each other... and they were the only two passengers in the whole car. "So, did you get the recording done, Turner?" "Got it right here, miss Elle," Turner said as he produced a tape recorder from his pocket. "The second after I said 'owed,' it was turned on, and they suspected nothing." "Wonderful," Elle said with a grin on her lips. "Those fur-puffs may think two people can be taken down with no issue since they have powers, but once we release this tape- after a few minor edits, of course- they'll have an entire region's worth of angry mobs to answer to!" "And once vigilante justice is served, miss Elle, we can return to claim the Galar particles, correct?" "Exactly!" Elle said with a snap of her fingers. "If there is one thing that people should know about Elle Sweetgum, it's that once I set a goal for myself, I don't stop trying until I reach it! Otherwise, I wouldn't have become the person I am today!" "Of course, miss Elle," Turner said as the train raced down the tracks back to Wyndon...
