Previously on Galarian Days... Upon their arrival to Wyndon, Zander requests a ride on the Ferris wheel with Sophia, where they have a conversation about his journey and where it may be going. Sophia says that it's okay for people to have different dreams, and tells Zander about her dream to be a patissier. But before they seem to be having a moment, the Ferris Wheel is about to close, and the two friends choose to book seperate suites at the hotel, while Elle and Turner are ready to share drinks before the Champion's Cup... - While sunrise was only a half-hour away, Zander was sleeping peacefully in his suite's large bed, snoozing until he needed to report to Wyndon Stadium for the Champion's Cup. Meanwhile, in her suite, Sophia was laying in her bed, her hair let down and spread out over the pillow... but she was wide awake and staring at the ceiling. Inside her mind, she was going through the same dilemma Zander went through before he turned in. "Should I have joined Zander instead of breaking away from him?" she thought, "Or am I doing the right thing by being in a seperate suite? Maybe us keeping our distance is for the best. We're both opposite genders, with our own schedules and ablutions, and we just spent a lot of time together, getting to know each other... Nah, we shouldn't. Zander is my friend, and it's best that we stay friends and nothing more." Having come to that conclusion herself, Sophia closed her eyes and tried to get some sleep... Finally, the half-hour passed uneventfully, and the sunlight crept through the windows to rouse Zander and Sophia from their sleep. Zander awoke with a yawn, and after stretching he said, "At last! The day of the Champion's Cup has come!" Sophia, however, was still conked out after only 4 hours of sleep. After Zander got ready to return to Wyndon Stadium, he felt a lump in his pocket and took out... the GS Ball. "Right, still have to deal with the side-quest," he realized. "I just hope I have time." Not wanting to waste another minute worrying about Sophia, he exited the hotel and took the monorail to the stadium, then entered the giant flower itself. Once he was inside, he was greeted by the seven people from the other stadiums throughout Galar: the Apricorn Rangers! "Welcome, Challenger!" Zander heard, and the Apricorn Rangers prepared to do their roll call. "The stronger, the better! Level Red!" "Emerge from the depths! Lure Blue!" "Once we meet, we're buddies! Friend Green!" "By the light of night! Moon Yellow!" "My heart cries out for you! Love Pink!" "You won't get away! Fast White!" "Be crushed under us! Heavy Black!" Finally, all of them said together, "Meticulously crafted, a timeless present! Forest Squadron! Apricorn Rangers!" After their group pose was struck, Zander clapped his paws and cheered, "Hooray! Hooray! That was amazing! ...But, was that the surprise I was supposed to get for gathering you all here?" "Nope... this is!" a feminine voice said behind him. Zander whipped around, and there was supposedly an eighth Apricorn Ranger, but this one was wearing a golden uniform with silver shoulder pads, silver gloves and boots, and a silver cape. But even more eye-catching was that her helmet was themed after the very item Zander was supposed to bring... the GS Ball itself! "Are you... the commander of the Apricorn Rangers?" Zander asked in awe. "I am," the shiny woman said. "My alias is GS Commander, the carrier of time." She then reached up to remove her helmet and added, "But my true identity... is this." Once her helmet was off, her face was revealed to have fair skin, emerald-green eyes, and brown hair down to mid-neck with two small buns on top. "Maizie, granddaughter of Kurt, at your service." "Pleasure to meet you, Maizie. I'm Zander, the Wolfen Knight of Galar," Zander introduced. "So, what brings you and... the rest of them," he asked, gesturing to the Apricorn Rangers, "all the way here to the Galar region?" "We were sent here by a message from six months ago," the adult Maizie said, taking out a small note and showing it to Zander. He took the note and read, "To whom this may concern: We have recently chosen a fledgling hero to help us with an important mission that we can no longer perform ourselves, but we feel that he may need a push to get started. We have heard of your heroic deeds in the Johto region, and we feel that you are the best candidate to help us. Please report to Wyndon Stadium in the Galar region on the first day of the Gym Challenge, and do not be late." But where there was supposed to be a signature, there were two paw prints instead. "I think I have an idea who may have sent this," Zander said as he handed the note back to Maizie. "But, to be fair, six months is a long time to plan something out." "Right, but enough stalling," Maizie said. "Do you have the item you were supposed to bring?" "Right!" Zander said before taking the GS Ball out of his pocket and giving it to Maizie. "Got it right here." "Perfect!" After Maizie took the ball from Zander's paw, she felt it in her hand and smiled, as if she knew something he didn't. "And the stars align, just for us. Come on out, old friend!" Just then, the ball actually opened up in her hand, and a flash of white light burst out between the wolf and the woman. When the light faded, a small, green humanoid creature with a plant-bulb head, blue eyes with black circles, and tiny fairy wings was there. Zander recognized this curious being as the Mythical Pokemon from the same books: the Time Travel Pokemon, Celebi! "Bi!" it said happily, flitting around Zander. "Celebi?" Zander asked in surprise. "But... how? The ball was completely empty when I was putting the capsules together!" "Simple," Maizie said. "It warped near the completed ball and let itself be captured when you left it unattended." Zander blushed at that and said, "Well, with all due respect, I hope it had the common decency to wait until I was asleep first." He then shook it off and said, "But I digress. Now that I know the how, I'm curious to know the why." "Because Celebi is here to give you a true perspective on how grave your mission as the Wolfen Knight of Galar is... by showing you itself," Maizie said, and Celebi nodded in agreement before hovering towards Zander. It then closed its eyes and held out its arms, and waves of blueish-green light surrounded them both. "Wha... what's happening?" Zander asked as he started hovering in midair! "Whoa! Whoa! I'm losing my balance-whoa!" "Buckle yourself in, Zander!" Maizie called out. "You're going for a panoramic adventure... through time!" "But what about-" Zander started, but Celebi had already whisked itself and him away in a quick flash! With them gone, Maizie put her helmet back on and said, "Okay, Apricorn Rangers, it looks like our job here is done. Now we can tell the Ball Guys they can have their posts back." "Understood, Commander!" "Now, power down, because I am satisfied with your work," Maizie said, and the Apricorn Rangers' helmets opened up for their bodies to shrink inside until they snapped shut, leaving seven balls sitting in a bunch until Maizie put them in a large bag.
