Way off in the skys where people gaze up at and day dream, this is where  the spirits of the earth roam free. Here is where Mother Earth and Father Sky along with their elemantal children work together to make the world a wondrous place. Together they are happy and enjoy their lives in the sky,except one spirit, who as we here on earth stare up into the clouds dreaming of flying, he fly through the skys and stares down on the earth and dreams of the world we live in.
"what it must be like to play and wonder around my brothers and sisters land and get to experience everything we do." he thought to himself.

	As he lets out a great sigh he notices brother lightning and sister rain were coming up behind him. For the spirit that was daydreaming was the Thunderbird. gaurdien or the sky and warning to all living things that his his brother and sister were coming to bring spectacular sights and nurishing water.

"Brother dear, why do you always fly so far ahead of us. Your giving the creatures down on earth a false sence of hope for when I actually come." said sister rain.

"You know why sister, he's off dreaming of the world below again, or are you ashamed to be with us brother?" sparked brother lightning.

"You know that I'm not ashamed of the two of you, well mainly you sister I'm not ashamed of." smiling at them, "I .... I just need some space sometimes."

Brother lightning turning away slightly "yea right."

"besides brother wouldn,'t you like it if i was far enough ahead so that the humans can get their cameras out to capture you brilliant light show you grace them with" Thunderbird replies.

"hmm... you have somewhat of a point . but I know that's not why your so far ahead. You are just trying to sweet talk me."

"Me? never brother dear."

"Thunderbird, what are you always dreaming about?" asked sister rain.

"You wouldn't understand." Thunderbird sighs again, "Let's move on or we are goin to cause a flood in this area." As he turns to fly away Thunderbird glances down towards earth then with the loud cracking of thunder with every flap of his wings, heads towards the trio's next destination.


	Later that evening, while siting on a cloud, Mother Earth aproached Thunderbird with a con erned look. "what's wrong my child?"

Startled "Oh....Mother, nothing is wrong. What makes you ask?"

"Your brother and sister that's who." Mother Earth replies. "They told me you were distracted today, and that's its been happening more often."

"Big mouths, always getting in my business."

"It's because they worry about you. They love you."

"Oh I know mother, I'm sorry that came off ungreatful of them. I just want some space to be by myself and dream. is that wrong of me mother?"

"No my boy, not at all." She hugs him tight. "Tell me son what is it that you dream about?"

"This is going to sound stupid. I dream and wonder what it would be like to live down on earth. To be able to enjoy everything. and maybe find someone to love and not be so lonely."

" I see." mother earth said with a warm comforting tone. " Are you happy here?"

"Of course I am mother is just want some more and experience life to its fullest."

"Is that something you really want to do son?" 

With bights sparkles in his eyes" Oh yes mother it would mean the world to me."

"He sounds serious about this mother." a voice comes out of thin air. Then in a gust of wind appears Father sky. "The boy has always had his own path to fly."

"That he has Father." mother earth replied "but what to do about it." they both look at Thunderbird.

"I think he would make a fine addition to the population down there. he is strong and wise. I think we should let him go down there and fulfil his dream."
"Really father? Can I?"

"But" Father sky cuts him off with a stern voice and look. "The choice is your and only yours. If you choose to go to earth, you will be born as a one of them and you will not know of this world."

"But how can I fulfil my dream if I don't know about it?"

"If you want the full experience of life then this is how it is to be. how can you enjoy live on earth and its wonders if you know about them?"

"I see what you mean father." Thunderbird bows his head in thought. as mother earth and father sky look upon him. " and I would forget about the both of you, and all of my brothers and sisters."

"It is a hard decision my dear." mother earths words comforts Thunderbird.

"can I sleep on it father? "

"Of course my boy, come to us with your desition when you are ready. there is no hurry. but do know that we both love you and we would miss you but we want you to be happy." Father sky says with a smile.

"Thank you, thank you both. I love you."

Mother earth and Father sky smiles and mother earth gives Thunderbird a good nights kiss and they leave Thunderbird to his thoughts.


	The next day Thunderbird goes to give his de vision to Father sky and Mother earth. When he gets to their room he sees all of his brothers and sisters there. In the middle of the room stood Mother earth and Father sky. "Have you made your decision son?" 

" I have Father."  a silence comes over the room. " I would like to fulfil me dream and live on earth."

"very well son we will send you down to earth." Father earth said with a proud grin. "just remember you will not remember about your life here. but we will be there for you if you need it."

"but how can I call for your help if i don't remember you?"

"When you are old enough you will realize you have a gift. you will to be able to call upon the elements to help you and we will be there even though you will not know its us." explained mother earth. " now we thought it was best for you to be born of a ground type of animal since here you rule the skys it will be a different experience for you to rule the land as a lion."

"you will be taken good care of with the pride. and we will be watch in you always."

"Thank you, I'm ..... I'm going to miss you all." Thunderbird said as tears welled up in his eyes. 

"take care of yourself brother." sister rain called out.

"and don't get into too much trouble down there."  brother lightning said with a grin.

"It's time my son."

"Yes father I'm ready."

"now close your eyes and relax." father sky said as Thunderbird closed his eyes he let out a deep sigh. as he hears mother earth say to him.

"May the spirits of nature guide and protect you, always my son." then Thuderbird felt a warm light then all of a sudden his eyes opened to crys all around him. he's in the shade of some trees and on the ground in some nice soft grass. he looks around and sees other cubs along side him. then he looks up not remembering anything from his past looks at the face of his new mother as she looks AP on him as says " you look just like an angel. so that's what I will call you. my little Angel Lion."
