Timber perked at the sound of a knock on the door. He reached for a facemask to deal with whoever was there, slipping it on over his snout. The dog stood from his couch and made his way over to the door. He had been awaiting a delivery, but not for another day at least. He peeked through the peephole. He didn't see anyone there, so he opened the door. A large box was resting on the doorstep, addressed to him. Timber stooped and carefully picked up the box. Thankfully light enough for him to carry without too much struggle, the fit pup backed into the house and carefully closed the door. Pivoting, Timber carried the box over to the coffee table sitting in front of the couch and set it down. He removed the cartoon-smile patterned mask and set it back where he'd picked it up from, before seeing about getting something to cut the tape. Shortly, the pup had returned with a small box cutter. He extended the blade just enough to cut the tape and not go any deeper, carefully running it against the seams. Timber retracted the blade fully and set it down, before pulling the flaps of the box open. He tilted his head. Inside the box was a cushion that filled the whole rectangular space, covered with a soft black faux fur. While Timber had ordered a body pillow to cuddle with, he was sure this wasn't the case he ordered for it. The pup looked over it and shrugged. Might as well try it out before he decided to see about exchanging. Timber scooped his arms in on either side of the pillow about halfway down the box, grabbing and lifting. He grunted, eyes widening. How could the pillow feel heavier than the box had? Straightening his back for better leverage and use of his glutes, the trim pup got one side to pop up over the side of the box. Something big and fluffy flopped out. At this development, Timber looked bewildered, shifted his grip towards the end still buried in the box, and lifted again. As that end came up out of the box, a familiar head flopped forward and up on top of the short flap. The labrador's dyed head fur and glasses made it quite obvious. He groaned drowsily. Timber yelped and let go in surprise. He overbalanced and toppled back onto the couch with a fwump. The labrador kept from sinking back into the box with a pair of elbows coming from his shoulders, which Timber had mistaken for the corners of the rectangular pillow at that end. He raised a rounded, clearly plush paw to the side of his face, rubbing it gently. Despite the simplifications to his body, it was still clear to the pupper who this was. "Tris?" Timber gawked in disbelief. With a grin, Tris pressed himself up fully onto his knees in the box. He twisted a bit to face the couch, revealing the white diamond shape on his chest and the round, soft curve of his belly, all faithfully represented in faux fur, presumably stuffed with polyfil. He planted his rounded paws on the edge of the box. "Hey Timby~" The flesh and blood pup stared at his plush friend. "H-how?" Grunting lightly with exertion, the plush labrador planted a foot paw down inside the box and stood enough to ease his other leg free. The motion made it clear that he was not wearing any clothing, unless one counted the glasses. Furthermore, it revealed that the curve of his belly went unchanged down to between his padded thighs, no sign of any reason to wear clothes in the first place. "I have my ways~" Tris glowed as he got fully onto both hind paws, towering over the seated pup. Timber sat up, which just put his face level with the big round belly. The design of the plush seemed to think that the deep soft navel was important to keep, nicely shaped. He trailed his eyes up the wide chest, which had a bit of definition of what would be pecs if there were muscles underneath, to the smiling face he knew so well. "I'm here to take care of you, Timber~" The black plush bent one knee, then the other, casually straddling Timber while pressing his big soft midsection into the pup's chest and lower jaw. "I know you've been feeling really touch-starved with the stay-at-home order and everything, not getting enough sleep~" Tris rubbed a rounded paw along the bill of the red ballcap the smaller dog always wore and gently removed it. "That body pillow you ordered really wasn't gonna cut it. You need a cushion that'll hug you back." The smaller pup blushed deeply, wrapping his arms around the big plush's midsection. His short tail began to wag rapidly as he squeezed, his gaze still looking up on Tris' face with an awe that made the big pup start to wag as well. "Okay, let's just lay down~" Tris said softly, tossing the cap aside. He twisted on the couch and pressed forward with his belly. Before Timber knew what was going on, he found himself laying out on his couch, comfortably and fully on the cushions... and the weight of the plush was coming down on him. The white diamond settled against his face as the labrador settled his arms on either side of the smaller dog's head, scooping to let his big round hand paws act as a pillow together. When this just resulted in Timber's face getting mooshed into the soft plush chest, he squirmed bashfully. It was crazy, he'd been able to lift the box just fine, but now he could hardly push back against the big plushie that had been residing within it. The pupper whimpered bashfully, nuzzling along the slightly sculpted cleft at the center of the larger male's chest. The big black labrador wagged his tail merrily, his bulk hiding every inch of Timber from the rest of the room. "Now now, I'll only let you up if you ask politely~" Tris grinned broadly at the muffled and flustered whine he received in reply.
