A voice. Gentle and silently. Beckoning her. Saying something unhearable. She looked at the guards walking in front of her, but they kept walking undisturbed. So they didn't hear it, she thought to herself. She slowed her pace and looked around for the voice, but they were alone on the street. Then again, the same voice, saying something else. She stopped, watching the guards walking on as if forgotten about her. Looking around again after the voice she saw a suspicious alleyway on the left side, which she then began walking towards. She stopped at the entrance, being wary from her previous "random" encounters, but the empty street told her that it was inevetable now. Shall I enter, or will you meet me in the light? she spoke into the alley. Her voice echoed back at her, barely, and she rubbed her side nervously. After what felt like several minutes, still nothing happened. Shrugging, she took a step forward. Okay, I'll enter then. You definetely need to be more friendlier to guests. she said into the alley. A few steps in, the darkness felt oppressive and constricting, but whatever awaited her in there would continue to wait until she got close enough. A thump behind her made her jump, and she turned slowly around. A pearly cat was sitting on the muddy ground and looking up at her with amber eyes. She knelt down, looking at the cat. So I am to assume you were the one that wanted to talk to me here, then, she mused, but it's not good manners scaring guests like that. The cat yawned and walked up to her. She stroke it behind it's ear, listening to it's content purring. If you aren't the one that called me here then, I've still got ways to go. she stood up and looked further down the alley. You'd better try and find your way home, kittie. I do not know what's awaiting me at the end of this. she said and chuckled gently. Starting to walk down the alley, trying to be prepared to whatever might happen her, she noticed that the cat followed her closely. So you've decided to join me on this walk of folly, kittie. she said to it. Despite the darkness all around her, she could see the back wall of the alleyway getting closer with each step, and eventually she stood right in front of it. The cat stepped up to the wall, and gently placed it's paws on the surface. She chuckled and touched the surface. Cold as stone. Doesn't seem as whoever wanted to meet me isn't here anymore. she thought loudly, That, or whoever it was is on a bathroom break. She knocked on the wall, but it sounded as stone so it wasn't a camouflaged door or such. Time to turn back then, I guess. she told the cat, who put down it's paws from the door. Turning around and walking back through the darkness, she was both worried and relieved that she hadn't met anyone. Anyone except this cat, she then remembered. The cat just kept walking half a pace behind her, seemingly minding it's own buisness but nonetheless matching your pace all the time. She walked a while, but she still couldn't see the exit in this darkness, but she knew it'd been a straight line all the way. Turning back she couldn't even see the wall that she had recently left. She sighed but kept walking straight out, Guess I was trapped after all. After walking what felt like double the distance she'd been walking into the alley, the darkness started feeling more oppressing and concealing. Stopping and taking a step towards the left, she felt for the safe guidance of the wall there, but her hand simply "went through" the wall. Suprised she looked down at the cat, Seems like you didn't dissapear along with the alley, or vice versa.. The cat let out a short mewl and started walking off to the left. Looking at the cat walking "into the wall", or rather into where the wall had been before, she debated on following it. When it stopped a bit away and turned around, looking at her, she realized that the cat seemed to glow with it's light fur against this darkness. Fine, fine, I'll follow. Doesn't seem as I've got much choice anyways, kittie. She said, walking slowly towards the bright cat.
