Chapter 2
		Gluttony 

DATE,  6th  of Winterfall 
	We have been following this one for two days now, it seems to only move under the cover of night or under heavy storm clouds. I recently entered the kingdom of Eumerial, while on its trail.  Not sure why this one is heading out to this outer kingdom.  I feel it may have located the host in a nearby town.  I am hoping to slay this one soon the air here is damp and cold even for Winterfall. 
	“alright that’s enough for now time to finish this one up and head back to Turruson, I can’t stand this weather”.
“Father is it time yet, I grow restless”! a boy shouted from behind
“You know Xiron this isn’t something you can rush into, hunting down these demons is serious business”.
	“I know father but  ive been looking forward to showing you my skills, and anyway its not like one demon can take down the three of us!”
	“ your confidence is refreshing, but where is your brother?”
Xiron shrugged “ how am I supposed to know”
Xiron’s father shook his head “ well go and find him were going to move out soon and he needs to be here”.


	A round an hour later Xiron returned with his brother Torin who he found throwing stones at a frozen lake.  
	“why must you wander off” their father said sternly
“sorry I just was tired of waiting around” Torin replied 
His father shook his head and told them to grab there things it was time to take this demon down.
	They followed behind the monster until they arrived at a wooden house at the outskirts of town. They watched the demon approach the home. A man stepped outside the front door and stared silently at the creature before him with sword in hand.
	“ Stay away from this place demon!” the man shouted 
The demon did nothing it just stood there looking at the ground. 
	“RAHHHhhhhh die monster “ the man yelled as he ran at the demon sword raised high. 
As he brought his sword down the demon disappeared and then reappeared behind him.
	“Sallllvadddooorrr….” The demon whispered as it wrapped its long arms around him.
		“Father we have to help him” Torin whispered as they hid from view in the trees nearby.
	“  agreed” his father said as he began to move forward. 
But as they were about to jump into the fray their father stopped them. 
	“Wait…something’s wrong here” he said as the demon threw the man in front of them aside and continued walking towards the house.
	“ what is it father why are we not attacking.” Xiron said
“Becasue this is no ordinary demon this is…gluttony one of the guardians of the nine circles of hell….we must retreat for now, we cannot destroy this one on our own.”  
	“but father we cannot just leave that man to die…and what if there are others in the house…” Torin Shouted
	“QUIET!” his father hissed “it will hear you”
But it was too late the demon had turned its gaze form Salvador to the three of them. It cocked its head sideways and opened its large mouth wide. 
	“RUN!” their father shouted 
They began to run back into the woods but they could not out run this demon.  As they ran hands began to come up from the snow on the ground. The hands grabbed their legs and held them to the ground. 
	The demon leaned over there father and spoke into his ear
	“ I feast on you first…..”
Then Gluttony lifted their father into the air and opened his mouth wide.  His mouth was filled with endless rows of razor sharp teeth.  The two brothers watched in horror as He then lowered Torin and Xirons Father head into his mouth and slammed his jaws shut.  Blood poured from the sides of the demons mouth.
	“NOOOOOO!” Torin cried… “GOD please… HELP US! “
“ No..no no GOD would let this happen” Xiron exclaimed as blood splattered onto his face as the beast consumed the rest of the body.
	‘” the demon then turned to Xiron and said….” Yes no God…”
The demon raised Xiron to his feet….”embrace our master…and your life will be spared….” Is whispered
	“i..i..i embrace…him” Xiron said with tears in his eyes….
Torin watched in in terror as a pit opened in the ground and his brother fell was dropped into it…The demon the raised Torin into the air…
	“do YOU EMBRACE HIM!” IT SHOUTED
“I embrace…only one…My lord MY SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST! he shouted into the demons face.
	“THEN DIE!” it screeched as it opened its mouth once again….
Without hesitation Torin grabbed his knife from his pouch and shoved it into the monsters forehead.
	The demon screeched and dropped Torin. 
		He quickly jumped to his feet and ran deeper into the woods.

	The demon pulled the blade from his head and threw it to the ground. He then summoned a strange four legged head that had faces for tongues and sent it after Torin. Gluttony then proceeded back to the house. 		
	The couple who lived in the house had fled but it was not them he wanted. Gluttony cursed house in evil and laid in wait for the girl who was to be the vessel for the Masters return to Earth.
