Raphael stood taken back slightly by Mike's reaction, surely he did not tap him that hard to cause a lot of pain. Perhaps he had been sleep walking, a possible nightmare to which the tap may have inicated that of an attack by some type of monster during said dream. Taking a step towards Mike, taking note of his still wide eyed expression, slowly he extends his hand towards him, helping the teen up gently, he hadn't known Mike to sleepwalk before, perhaps the sudden move to a new house had made him restless during his sleep. If that was the case, he may need to keep an eye on Mike during the night until he was more settled, although he hoped it would only have been this one time he would sleepwalk, but he would still keep a watchful eye on him, just to ease himself that the teen did not hurt himself during it. "Are you alright Mike? You look like you just had the fright of your life, bad dream?" He asked, Raphael knew that talking about a nightmare would help to keep the 'monsters' away, but he didn't want to press him into talking if he was not fully ready to talk about it at this time. Looking back towards the doorway to the kitchen, he saw nothing, the shadowy figure had vanished, "t-there was someone there, in the doorway just now, b-before you came down daddy..I don't know if it was facing me or had its back to me, it was like a shadow..but it had these spiked looking things coming from the head, shoulders and it looked like it had a shell." Mike replied, breathing slightly heavy from the scare he had, "it looked taller than me and it wasn't moving, just standing there once the light stopped flickering..." Raphael looked at him, figuring he was talking about his dream, he smiled gently at him, "you just had a nightmare, see there's nothing there, sometimes dreams can look real but they're not," he said putting an arm around Mike and held him close, "it's alright, you're alright. Why don't you share my bed for tonight and we'll talk more about it when we start painting huh? It'll make work less boring," he chuckled a little, flipping the switch as the light faded to darkness again, the moonlight lighting parts of the house through the windows as he led Mike back to the stairs, ascending them back to his room. Placing his arm over Mike's side as he lay next to him in a protective motion, easing the teen back into slumber until the day would be upon them. During the remeinder of the night, creaking was to be heard coming from the attic, as though someone was walking around, at some point of the night, a thumping noise was heard coming from the attic stairway, as though a body was being slowly dragged downwards, the head hitting against every step on the way down, followed by a noise of something being dragged across the upstairs corridor, a wet sliding noise, the sounds was too different to be of a water soaked slide noise, a blood based slide noise was much closer to the description of said sliding noise going across the corridor. Mike's mind raced of all possible scenarios of what was happening outside of the room door, a bloody body being dragged to be buried outside by its killer, a victim still alive dragging itself in hopes of escaping from death, the killer lazily dragging limb by limb of the victim, chopped up for easier disposal. No sooner as the dragging noise had stopped, did he hear footsteps returing down the corridor, slowly passing by the room door, Mike buried his head under the covers in hopes it was only a dream he was experiencing, hoping he had not woken up to get the last slices of pizza, having never seen that shadowy figure in the kitchen doorway, and not hearing these sounds right now. Braving himself to glance over the covers as the footsteps became fainter, listening closely in hopes they had gone did he hear the attic door closing to a lock, with widened eyes he re-covered his head with the covers, wishing for morning to arrive. As morning came, Raphael was already downstairs making enquiries about having the electricity updated due to the old wiring in their current condition, fearing that it would cause electrocution in the near future. Having been informed they would be updated later that day, he gave them permission to gain access if he would be out grocery shopping and appliacnce shopping for a stove oven, microwave, freezer, fridge and a tv as soon as the downstairs rooms would be painted. Raphael had enough time to find where to get the items he required before the paint delivery was to arrive, writing a note and leaving the paper on the kitchen table, under a pizza box that Mike would sure see when coming for breakfast, once done he left the house making sure to lock the front door, taking the key with him. No sooner as the clock chimmed, announcing it was 10 o'clock, the chime echoing through the house, reaching Mike's line of hearing he awoke. Glancing over to where Raphael would have been laying, there was an empty space. Mike scrambled out of the bed and raced to the open door and raced down the staircase in search for him, "daddy?" He called, rushing into the living area, no sign of him, turning on his heels he ran to the drawing room, "daddy!" He called again looking around, in hopes Raphael would answer or at least look at him from behind an armchair, but no, he did neither. Placing a hand to his head, Mike looked around in a slight controlled panic before running to the kitchen as he glanced around, bypassing the note that was in plain sight. "Shell, where are you daddy?.." He said to himself before making his way back to the hallway of the house, almost jumping out of his shell to the sound of tapping outside the window. Slowly Mike turned to the window, tapping, but no one was there to cause a tapping sound, another came from the living area window, the same type of tapping. A claw tapping against the window sound, not wanting to move from the spot he was at, he couldn't, not wanting to know who or what was at the other side of that window, then another at the kitchen window, a slightly faster tapping. Hesitating, Mike took a step towards the kitchen when the back windows began on the tapping sounds, loud enough to be heard. Mike took in a shaky breath, he could not find Raphael to feel at least a little safe. Suddenly as if in a sequence, the tapping began from the upstairs window one by one to the downstairs, starting at the back to the hallway in a continous manner. Mike, now was starting to panic as he glanced around following the tapping, "stop it.....Stop it!" He called, "STOP IT!!" Mike screamed holding his head as though he had just been struck, no sooner as he had screamed, the tapping instantly stopped. Taking a moment to gather himself to the verge of panicked tears, he glanced around taking a few shaky breaths, as well as a few steps towards the staircase, ascending on the first few he stopped. "Daddy?" Moving across the walls on the upstairs corridor was Raphael's shadow, heading towards the deadend door as it opened. Mike quickly ascended the rest of the staircase and glanced around, for the moment the shadow had vanished, "daddy? Where'd you go??" He called out, hoping for an answer but receiving none, however, Mike noticed the deadend door open, did Raphael go to the attic for some reason? He didn't know, but he was sure to find out as he began heading towards the opened door, slowly smiling as he saw Raphael's shadow once again, seemingly going up the attic stairs, "daddy wait!" He called as he began speed walking, suddenly behind him the room doors began to shoot open by an unknown force. Almost jumping out of his shell a second time, he looked behind him, watching the door open by force that were heading his way. Wasting no time, Mike ran to the attic stairs, quickly going up them to the opened attic door, as he entered, he expected to see Raphael in that small room...he was not there. As he walked in further, cautiously looking around for any sign of Raphael, possibly hiding behind one of the armchairs, but they were not tall or wide enough to be able to conceal the large turtle. "What's going on?..." Mike whispered to himself, "I saw his shadow coming up here..Least I thought I saw.." He said as he turned around to exit the attic, as soon as he took a step towards the door, it instantly slammed shut, locking itself.
