"We Are Still Alive" "No! I can't let it happen!" Claudia Foxx yelled as she woke up from a nightmare. The poor yellow vixen dreamed about committing suicide after her secret crush did the same. Her secret crush was Killer the Wolfdog, who was also her best friend. "Oh, of course. It was just a dream. Killer isn't really depressed..... Is she?" she wondered. "Oh... I hope she isn't. Her life seems miserable; having a power from her family that causes her to lose control, being from a family that my family feared, having her family seperated, being kidnapped; what an unfortunate life..." Claudia looked at the alarm clock and saw it was too early to go to Killer's house. "I know I shouldn't bother her this early. Oh... but I care about her... I'll wait...." she said, worrying about her best friend. The vixen waited a few hours. She waited until it was around noon. "Okay, time to go." she said as she opened the front door. Still nervous, she walked out of her house and reached to her neighbor's place. The vixen knocked on her friend's. A blood-red wolf and husky hybrid answered. "Hey, Claudia. What's up?" the wolfdog asked. She noticed the anxious look on Claudia's face. "Huh? Um... hey, is there something wrong?" "Killer! Are you okay?!" Claudia asked as she threw her arms around her friend, crying a little since she was so scared. "I just thought you would be depressed after all the things you went through, You told me you sometimes think about them and you regret them." Killer was just confused. "What has gotten into you? Did I do something?" "Oh, sorry. It's just that a had a nightmare... I don't wanted to talk about it..." Claudia said as she calmed down. "Huh? .... Oh... I understand, Claudy. You're worried about my feelings towards my flaws. I can see why you thought I was depressed. Remember, I might have things I regret, but there's always positives in one's life. For example, my best friend who's always there for me." Killer replied in a soothing voice. Claudia just blushed in response. Killer noticed the vixen's light-gray face turn red. "Well I guess you know who I'm talking about." the wolfdog said, chuckling. "Yes I do. Um... sorry for the freakout, Kill. It'a just that... I care a lot about you.." Claudia said, still blushing. "It's perfectly fine." Killer said as she gave Claudia a friendly hug. The hug made Claudia blush more, but it made her feel much better, so she hugged back. "Well, I have to be back home now." the vixen said with a slight frown. "Thanks for dropping by and thanks for caring." the wolfdog said as she waved to her best friend. "You're welcome!" Claudia walked back to her house. Killer was watching her friend leaves. "And I care a lot about her back... should I tell her about my feelings towards her" she said to herself.
