That evening found Del not at some candle lit dinner, or at a restaurant or movie theater. Instead the evening had led to the black furred cat sitting with his arms around his recently titled husband. The white cat in his arms snuggling with the black cat, almost like a child holding a teddy bear. The men were sitting on the living room couch watching old Disney movies, and the image of a lion going through a massive jungle at night as Elton John's music started playing. Levi smiled and looked up at Del with a glint in his eyes. Del returned the smile, his finger's trailing down, hands touching and interlocking with the quiet clank of wedding rings touching. In the movie the chorus began to play and Del opened his mouth, the words nowhere near as good as they came out from the movie but still true. "Can you feel the love tonight? It is where we are. It's enough, for this wide eyed wanderer, that we got this far." Levi smirked and took over the next line. "And can you feel the love tonight? How it's left to rest? It's enough to make kings and vagabonds, believe the very best."Levi's words answered and both men's smiles grew wider. As the piano played Levi unlocked his arm and moved so he sat up but still faced his lover. As the music started back up, with two lions dancing in the jungle by a water fall, Levi smirked and sang. "There's a time for everyone, if they only learned," "That the twisting kaleidoscope moves us all in turn." Del took the next line with wink. "There's a rhyme and reason to the wild outdoors." Levi's words grew quieter as he sang, his face nearing Del's. Del leaned in closer to the nearing white feline; his smile grew, and with almost a hushed whisper he sang as he lightly placed a free hand on Levi's chest. "When the heart of this star-crossed voyager," Del sang, and Levi placed his hand on Del's chest, both feeling the heart beat of the other. "Beats in time with yours." They sung at once, only loud enough for each other as they leaned in closer and let their lips meet. Del smiled into the kiss, a quiet purr escaping his throat. The movie's music continued and Del pulled Levi closer to him. "Can you feel the love tonight?" The movie asked. Both cats smirked and kept their lips locked as love was in the air, and neither would ever not feel it again.
