BIT Squad - Beyond the 4th Wall Episode 11 - Bad Dog 2BIT & BIT Squad belong to... 2BIT. GeneX & related characters belong to 2BIT. Sonic the Hedgehog & related characters belong to SEGA. Mario belongs to Nintendo. Other characters belong to their respective owners. By now, hopefully you know BIT Squad's deal. A demigod fox named 2BIT split his being into several others in order to help him watch over the multiverse, operating out of a small dimension known as Byte Space. They keep the peace across worlds 2BIT created and worlds he didn't. They are BIT Squad. "The Switch stinks!" Dogson was annoying anyone who would listen. "All the games are remakes of Wii U games except Oddysey! It's too big to fit in my non-existant pocket! And worst of all... no Virtual Console!" he complained, his face stuck in a game of Fire Emblem Warriors. "...Yeah, I wanted all the Dreamcast games on the Wii U." Gator mumbled as he passed by. "Everything sucks and is pointless..." Dusk groaned, "But you're just sour because there's nothing much nostalgic on the Switch." he muttered. Dogson opened his mouth for rebuttal, but rubbed his chin to consider it. "Right...recent game remasters don't count..." he muttered. 2BIT walked in and found everyone standing around Dogson, exchanging gripes with him. "Hey, what is this, a coffee break!? We don't drink coffee! Back to work!" he shouted, snatching the Switch from Dogson. "Don't completely shatter the fourth wall. How many times must I say this?" he grumbled, "We need to find you something constructive to do instead of complaining about modern stuff..." And so, the mission to find Dogson a niche began! We'd love to do a musical montage here, but you're going to get enough of that nonsense in Sonic GeneX this year. So, here's some quick gags! Dogson was seen walking 2BIT's various pets. At the end of his leashes were SPOT, an Arcanine named Chip, a Lycanroc named Twilight, and Cookie, a villager from 2BIT's Animal Crossing village. "Why does the robo-puppy need a walk? Why am I walking Cookie!? This is demeaning for all of us!" Dogson complained. "Aw, I just like getting out in the fresh air!" Cookie giggled. Dogson was put in charge of curating 2BIT's Mario Maker courses. It seemed a good idea, nobody was otherwise paying attention to them. Unfortunately, this was a bad idea as Dogson converted all 3D style stages to original Super Mario Bros. stages. Vixy test played them and growled. "How can I beat a Yoshi level without Yoshi!? What were you thinking!?" she shouted. "Not my fault. Nintendo should've made 8-bit Yoshis." Dogson said. "You called?" said 8BIT, appearing out of nowhere and snickering as he unplugged the Wii U. Dogson tried to take over the cooking for BIT Squad. At the next lunch, the squad found bones and kibble waiting for them. "...You're taking your species a bit too literal, dawg..." Stripes groaned, looking at the bowl left for him. "Can I sprinkle some cheese on it?" Cupie asked. Dogson crossed his arms at them. "Well, we don't actually HAVE a chef, and we can't do takeout forever!" he told them. "Says who?" Gator asked. Dogson turned to walk away. "Me! Now eat up...you're stuck with Chef Dogson until we get a replacement!" he said, walking out. 2BIT groaned softly. "Any volunteers?" he asked. Once out of sight, Dogson snickered and opened a closet, pulling out a tasty looking, well seasoned steak. "This'll teach them to make me walk things..." he snickered. ....It taught no one anything. End!
