Shadows Point of view


*Sigh* A white cloud forms from my mouth. It really is getting cold. The streets are dark and empty and streetlights are flickering. *Sigh* “Why did I have to get a mission in such a place. “


Christmas was just around the corner, and I still didn't get a present for Sonic. At this rate I don't know if I will be home. 


Sonic and I have been living together for almost a year. And It will be our first Christmas together. I want to do something special with him. 


Narrator POV


Shaking his head, he tried to concentrate on his mission.”Let's get moving!” He said as he skated inside an enemy base. From Rouges intel there was supposed to be some an experiment going on. Something about psychic abilities. 


He infiltrated the base. It was quiet… A bit too quiet. Did they know I was coming? No matter. All I need is to find evidence of what is happening, and destroy anything that gets in my way. 


Looking from the outside the facility looks like an ordinary factory. And even the inside doesn't seem that suspicious either. It just seems like no one has been here in a long time. Which is strange, because all the lights are switched on. And even some machines are just working on their own. Most likely to make it also sound like a normal factory.
It is quite obvious that they are hiding something.


Not finding anything on the first floor Shadow decides to take the elevator downstairs. It seems like there is a basement. Which, according the intel, is where Shadow will find his evidence. He stayed on his guard as the elevator opened. It definitely was what he  was looking for. The basement looked like a laboratory. The ceiling was really high.  And the walls were really solid. It seemed like they had a metal lair. There were empty tubes with a blue liquid everywhere.


As Shadow was examining the area, he saw a guard. Who was on the ground. ‘Did someone else come before me?’ Shadow wondered. He walked towards the guard, cautiously, and shook his shoulders. ‘Hey, what happened here?’ Shadow asked but it was no use. The guard was out cold. 


Not wanting to waste anymore time. He continued to examine the basement. There seem to be multiple smaller labs, with each having two tubes. 


Further in the back, he heard some voices. It seems to be two male adults talking to a kid.
“Where is Mephiles?” the kid said.
“Don't worry, if you are a good boy he will come see you.” One of the males said. “Yes, so use your powers for us!” the other said. “Where is Mephiles!” The kid said.


Shadow got closer to where the conversation was getting held. It was a lab much bigger then the others. The two males were wearing a white coat. And the kid they were talking to was in a tube. ‘A white hedgehog?’ Shadow thought. The two adults walked out the lab, clearly annoyed how uncooperative the white hedgehog was being. “What will we do now?” one of them said  “If he keeps up we will just drug him” the other said.


Shadow felt like punching both of them. But followed them instead to find the evidence he needs. The white hedgehog was living evidence. But Shadow rather not give the kid to GUN. Giving one more glance at the white hedgehog he decides to come back for him. The tube probably has some kind of security, it will just make the job harder. 


He followed the lab assistants. It seems like they are headed to a more open area. Which leads to a room with ‘Restricted area’ 
‘Bingo’ Shadow thought.
