As you climb into the air you feel your current reservoir of power fading.  you're not from earth even if you look like earth furs.  as a native of the planet Benthos you have the ability to harvest particles that the earthlings produce but have yet to discover called marlocks.  their adult males produce some but you discovered that the cubs of this planet are a font of M energy.   


You need to be in tip-top shape with a possible world ending the threat on the way so you need a recharge.
