Shadow crosses his arms and turns away, his muzzle still bright red.

"Hmph."

Yami smirks and gently rubs his ear. Shadow continues to look away and groans as she is rubbing his ear, starting to feel a bit annoyed yet ticklish.

"Now now, don't be grumpy... it is your birthday after all~"

Shadow sighs and gently moves Yami's hand away, starting to feel embarrassed by the attention. Yami smirks and looks over as Kimi starts to cut the cake.

"Who wants a piece of cake?"

Everyone soon raises their hand and happily awaits their piece. Shadow receives his piece first then followed by Yami, Knuckles, Maia, Sonic, Kira, Kimi, Tails and Myla. 

Tails soon licks his lips and starts to eat his piece quickly. Sonic looks over in shock at the young fox.

"Whoa... slow down, little buddy!"

Myla giggles as Tails blushes and stops eating his piece of cake.

"S-sorry..."

Sonic chuckles and winks.

"No problem, buddy... just make sure you don't get a tummy ache!"

Tails giggles nervously as he starts eating his piece of cake slower.

Knuckles and Maia look over to Tails and chuckle together before finishing up their pieces of the cake.

"That was delicious, Kimi!"

"Yeah... I also approve of the emerald design."

Kimi blushes a little, feeling flattered.

"Thanks guys! I guess an emerald was just the first thing I thought of when I thought of Shadow... no offence, Knuckles."

Knuckles chuckles as he puts his plate down.

"None taken, Kimi."

Shadow soon looks over to Sonic and smirks a little as Kira wipes off a bit of cake from his muzzle. 

"That faker..."

Rouge smirks and sits over next to Shadow and Yami.

"Faker? You're STILL using that pet name~?"

Yami giggles and smirks too.

"I gotta admit, it is a pretty cute pet name~"

Shadow blushes and looks away.

"Hmph, it's not a pet-name... I STILL think he's a faker."

Sonic growls as he overhears Shadow. He stands up and is about to strike at Shadow when Kira holds him back.

"Hey! You may have been created before me but that doesn't make me a faker... YOU'RE the faker!"

"Enough, Sonic!"

Shadow growls back and is about to strike at Sonic when Yami pulls him back.

"No, Shadow... stay calm."

Shadow sighs deeply and closes his eyes before slowly sitting back down in his chair.
 Sonic sighs too and 
sits back down as Kira holds his hands.

"Calm down, Sonic... don't make a scene."

Sonic lowers his ears and looks over to Shadow.

"Shadow? I... I'm sorry."

Shadow looks up at Sonic and sighs.

"No Sonic... I'M the one who should be sorry. I don't really think that you're a faker... I was just jealous back then, forgive me."

Sonic soon smiles a little and gives Shadow a thumbs up.

"Apology accepted, Shadow."

Shadow smirks a little.

"I accept yours too, Sonic."

Yami and Kira smile at each other before looking at their male friends.

Silver soon walks over with Kimi and puts a hand behind his head.

"Ehh, sorry to interrupt but there are a lot of unopened gifts over there. Did you want me to bring some over to you, Shadow?"

Shadow smirks up at Silver.

"Sure, it's been a while since I last had a present."

Silver nods and walks over before picking up some presents. He sets them down on the table next to Shadow and sits back down. Rouge then gets up and brings some more gifts over, including her present for him. 

The remaining Mobians all place down their cups and smile as Shadow curiously looks at the large pile of gifts.

He looks down at the pile then back up at Yami, watching in amazement as Silver and Rouge continue to put more gifts on the pile.

"All of these... are for me?"

Yami giggles and nods.

"Of course they are, Shadow. It's YOUR special day after all~"

Shadow smirks a little and turns to his side before picking up a small present, wrapped in red and yellow dotted paper. He looks at it curiously and starts to unwrap it.

Inside the present was a little silver box. Shadow opens it curiously and everyone sniggers from what was inside.

"A... grooming kit?"

Everyone continues to snigger as Knuckles smirks at Shadow.

"Yeah... me and Maia know how much you like your chest fur. So we got it as a kind of jokey present."

Maia giggles and watches as Shadow takes out a little brush from the kit. He brushes his chest fur with it and chuckles before putting it back.

"Thanks Knuckles, thanks Maia... this will definitely come in handy."

Rouge soon smirks and walks over to Shadow before handing him a little present.

"Happy birthday, partner~"

Shadow sighs a little as he takes the present from Rouge.

"Thanks Rouge... though I'm guessing that whatever it is was stolen?"

Rouge smirks again and puts a hand on his shoulder.

"You'll know when you see it, hun~"

Shadow rolls his eyes as he opens the present. The box contains a small red gemstone. Shadow sighs.

"Rouge..."

"Ok, so maybe I DID steal it... but it's the thought that counts, right~?"

Yami smirks and looks closely at the red-coloured gemstone.

"Nice find, sis~"

Rouge winks.

"You know me, hun~"

Shadow groans a little but puts the gemstone back in the box before placing it onto the table next to him.

"Thanks, Rouge."

Everyone sniggers again from Rouge's behaviour.

Tails and Myla both smile and wag their tails as Shadow picks up their gift. Sonic chuckles and points over to them before whispering to Kira.

"Hey Kira, look at those two..."

Kira giggles.

"Aww... they're so excited."

Shadow looks curiously at the present, wrapped in blue polka dot paper and then proceeds to open it.

Inside the present are two small rectangular shaped devices with a red and black button on the front of each. Shadow looks at the devices curiously and then looks over to Tails and Myla.

"They're speed and strength enhancers, Shadow. You attach them to your shoes and they make them faster and more powerful in battle! We invented one them for Sonic not too long ago and they worked out well so we decided to make some for you too."

Sonic smirks as he looks down at his and then looks back up.

"They work really awesome, Shadow... you'll love them!"

Shadow smirks and bends down before attaching the devices onto his shoes. He then looks back up.

"Thanks Tails, thanks Myla... these will be useful for future battles."

Tails and Myla both smile and high five each other before watching Shadow pick up the next gift. The next gift was wrapped in grey and blue spotted paper and was slightly larger than the previous one.

He soon opens it and Silver and Kimi both watch, curiously, knowing that it was the gift that they had bought for him.

The item inside the box was a small ring-shaped device which had a cube attached to the top and a red-coloured strap. He looks down at it curiously before putting it onto the wrist of his glove.

"It's a navigation device, Shadow. It brings up a holo-map of the area that you are in as well as marking the position of enemies and allies nearby."

Shadow smirks as he presses a button on it. The device makes a beeping sound and then brings up a holo-map of the house that he's in. Various dots are shown on the holo-map, all of them in blue.

"Incredible. Thanks Silver, thanks Kimi."
