The group soon split up and walk around the room and start admiring the lights, cake and decorations. 

Sonic pats Shadow's back in a friendly way before walking over to Yami. The two walk over to the kitchen and start taking out the food, which was being stored in the refrigerator.

Yami smiles as she starts pouring out some juice into little plastic cups before putting them on the table. 

"Shadow seems to be doing really well with his memories now..."

Sonic smiles as he starts to unwrap the food and setting it out on the table. 

"Yeah, he's doing great... I didn't think he would remember the time that me and him fought Biolizard."

Yami smiles and places the photograph down on the table behind the cake.

"Well... I may have reminded him on that one. But that's because I had the photograph with me."

Sonic smiles and puts his hands on his hips before looking over at the others. He notices Shadow looking around and looking curiously at a balloon. He chuckles.

"It's kinda funny how he's trying to get used to things, he's like a kid learning new things."

Yami giggles as she walks over to Maia and Kimi. The three females soon start to light the candles on Shadow's cake as well as starting to set up seats for people to sit on.

As the girls start to set up the table, Knuckles walks over to the table and picks up a cup of juice before walking over to Rouge and Shadow and starts to talk to them.

"So Shadow... how are you doing?"

Shadow looks over to Knuckles and gives him a serious look.

"I'm fine... I seem to be getting more memories from being here."

Knuckles holds his hand out and Shadow shakes it.

"Oh, I'm Knuckles by the way... in case you've forgotten. I'm the one in charge of the Master Emerald. It's what you and Sonic used in order to gain your 'Super' ability."

"Super... ability?"

"Yeah, when you and Sonic fought Biolizard you guys were in your 'Super' forms. You both turn into golden versions of yourselves with red eyes and your powers are greatly amplified."

Rouge smirks.

"Well, look who's starting to sound smart for once~"

Shadow chuckles and watches as Knuckles blushes a little and growls at Rouge.

"Quiet, bat-girl!"

The blue blur and purple female both smirk as they overhear the conversation. 

"Come on guys, stop flirting~" 

Kira giggles as she puts an arm around Rouge. The young bat smirks at Kira and points over to Sonic.

"Excuse me Kira, but... I believe you were flirting with Big Blue just now~"

Kira blushes and looks over to Sonic. Sonic puts a hand behind his head and chuckles nervously. Knuckles smirks and sniggers.

"W-we didn't flirt, Rouge..."

Rouge giggles and smirks.

"Well Maia told me that you two were arguing like a married couple this morning and she also noticed that Sonic looked rather upset when you said that Maia was teasing, Kira~"

Sonic looks away before rubbing a finger against his nose, blushing more.

"No, I didn't... I was just upset because... uh..."

Rouge smirks and gently pokes Sonic's nose with her finger.

"Ah ah ah... Maia ALWAYS knows what she sees, Big Blue... don't deny it~"

Kira giggles and soon opens her eyes wide before putting her hands over her blushing cheeks.

"You mean... you actually DO want to be with me?"

"S-sometime... in the f-future..."

Shadow, Knuckles and Rouge smirk and nod to each other as the two hedgehogs exchange glances.

"Why in the future, Big Blue... why not now~?"

Shadow smirks as he puts his hands on Sonic's shoulders and gently pushes him forward. Rouge smirks as she does the same with Kira until they're both within a short distance from each other.

Kira blushes and looks away from Sonic. The blue blur smiles a little and holds out his hand to Kira. She turns back around and smiles as she takes his hand in hers.

"Hmm... I knew that there was something special about you two."

Sonic, Kira and Rouge all look over to Shadow, confused. 

"You... know about us, Shadow?"

Shadow smirks and chuckles.

"Let's just say that some more of my memories came back... especially those to do with relationships."

Just then a knock at the door is heard. Maia goes over and answers it, revealing a young silver-coloured hedgehog.

"Silver!"

Everyone watches in surprise as Kimi runs over and gives Silver a big hug (a 'glomp' in other words!)

Silver yelps a bit from the surprise and chuckles as Kimi lets him go and kisses his muzzle.

"Hey honey... I didn't know that you missed me THAT much~" 

"Whoa... Silver and Kimi are together too?!"

Kira smirks as she looks over to Silver and Kimi.

"You didn't know? Then again, I did promise Kimi that I would keep it a secret~"

Kira winks to Kimi and Sonic smirks down at Kira.

"You really ARE full of surprises, aren't ya, babe~?"

Kira giggles as Sonic pulls her closer to him. He rubs his nose against hers and chuckles softly before smirking at Shadow. 

"Hmm... are YOU in love with anyone, Shadow~?"

Shadow crosses his arms and looks away, a noticible blush can be seen across his muzzle.

"I... do not understand this emotion."

Sonic smirks and watches as Silver and Kimi walk over and chuckle.

"Come on Shad, you must know what love is. I feel it for Kira-chan~"

Kira blushes and smirks up at Sonic.

"Kira-chan~?"

"It's my cute nickname for ya, babe... what do you think~?" 

"I love it... Blue-Muffin~"

Shadow smirks and chuckles again followed by Silver and Kimi.

"Well... I suppose I understand the emotion. Though I'm not so cutesy about it like you four~"

"Heyy, we're not THAT cutesey..."

Sonic chuckles at Kimi's response before looking back at Shadow.

"Fair enough... but you still didn't answer my question~"

"Hmph. I was getting to that, Faker."

"He remembers your nickname, Sonic~"

Sonic groans as Kira and Rouge giggle.

"Not this 'faker' stuff again, Shadow... please."

Soon Yami smirks as she walks over to the trio.

"What's this about a 'faker'~?"

Shadow soon blushes and turns away from Yami. Rouge smirks as she notices Shadow's blush.

"Shadow remembers his pet name that he gave to Sonic~"

Sonic blushes a little from the name and looks back to Shadow.

"Anyway... are ya gonna answer my question, Shadow?"

Yami listens in, curiously and watches as Shadow looks at her and then back to Sonic.

"No..."

"Aww, why not?"

Rouge smirks as she notices Shadow's reaction to Yami's presence. Silver and Kimi smirks too as they notice Shadow's blush.

"I think it's because the girl is already here and he doesn't want to say in front of her~"

Sonic soon looks at Kira and the two then look over to a confused Yami. They both smirk at each other and then back to Shadow.

"I see~"

Yami looks around, noticing that everyone apart from Shadow, is smiling at her.

"Why do you guys keep looking at me like that?"

Silver smirks as he picks up a cup of juice from the table.

"No reason, Yami... we just like what you're wearing~"

Yami, who is totally oblivious to the situation, smirks as she looks down at her outfit then back up at Silver.

"Thanks hun... I thought I would wear something extra good for the party~"

Kira soon clears her throat and smirks.

"Good enough to turn on a certain male... right~?"

Shadow feels his eyes go wide and his cheeks get warmer. He had noticed her outfit before but he didn't want to share how he felt about Yami wearing it.

Kimi soon walks back over to the table and smirks to Knuckles and Maia.

"Well, I don't know about you guys but all of this talk of love is making me hungry~ There's plenty of food on the table, so help yourselves!"

Knuckles sniggers as he picks up a plate and starts picking up bits of food. Maia follows behind him, picking up similiar foods and putting them on her plate. 

"You sure have a big appetite, Maia!"

Maia giggles and looks at Knuckles' plate before picking up the same bits of food as him. 

"I just like the things that you like, Knuckles~"

The others soon follow behind and start to pick up bits of food whilst talking to one another in the queue.

Sonic licks his lips as he picks up a handful of cocktail sausages and puts them on his plate. Kira giggles as she picks up a bit of pizza.

"Leave some sausages for everyone else, hun~"

Sonic blushes a little as he picks up a piece of pizza too.

"Sorry... but they are the main ingredient of chili dogs, ya know!"

Kira smirks and kisses Sonic's muzzle. Sonic chuckles as Kira steals a couple of sausages from his plate.

"You greedy hedgie~"
