Lilly giggles and rubs his ear before standing up again.

"Whatever you say, sweetie. Now, are you decent?"

Sonic blushes and looks under his bed cover before looking back up at her.

"Yeah, I'm good mom."

Lilly smiles before walking to the top of the stairs, she looks down and calls Kira up. Kira wags her tail again and walks up the stairs before peeking into Sonic's room with Lilly.

"Hey Sonic, how are you feeling?"

Kira walks inside and sits down on the bed next to him. The blue blur wags his tail and looks up at her, blushing a little.

"Better thanks... though a lot better now that you're here."

Lilly smiles and Kira blushes a little as well as giggling.

"You're still a charmer I see~"

"It'll take more than a fever to stop me from being charming~"

Sonic winks at her in a flirty way and Kira covers her blushing muzzle with her hands. Lilly smiles at them both and then looks around Sonic's bedroom.

"Ah that reminds me... I haven't been able to find Kiki recently, sweetie."

The blue blur's muzzle soon lights up with a red hue as Kira looks at him, curiously.

"Who's Kiki?"

"Ah, Kiki is Sonic's favourite toy, he's had it since he was a toddl--"

Sonic waves his hands around madly and quickly tries to interrupts her.

"No mom! I don't think Kira wants to hear about that!"

Lilly giggles as she continues to look.

"Why wouldn't she, sweetie? Kiki does look a lot like her after all~"

"Mom!!"

Sonic covers his face with the cloth as his muzzle turns tomato red. Kira giggles as she tries to uncover his face. She notices him look up at her but then he turns away and tries to push her hands away.

"Aww, he's just as shy as I remember~"

Lilly looks down at Sonic and gently puts her hands on his muzzle. He looks up at her and again tries to push her hands away, but this time he ends up failing to do so, leaving his bright red muzzle completely exposed.

Lilly giggles and gently pets Sonic's head.

"Aww, is my little Blue Blur going all blushy~?"

"Hmph."

The blue blur pushes her hands away and hides his face under his bed cover. Lilly and Kira both giggle and sit down next to him.

"So anyway... Kiki is a little toy he has, he used to miss you whenever you weren't around so he always used to cuddle it for comfort. But that's not all..."

"Oh~?"

Kira wags her tail again as she wants to hear the rest of the story.

"You used to have a doll too... Sonni I believe his name was?"

At that moment Sonic uncovers his face and smirks at Kira who was now also blushing bright red.

"Sonni, huh? Hmm, sounds a lot like 'Sonic', doesn't it mom~?"

"Well, he did look a lot like you, sweetie."

The young female opens her eyes wide and blushes brighter. 

"I d-don't remember having a doll like that..."

Lilly smiles and puts an arm around her.

"Well you were only a little baby at the time. I remember that you used to carry it around with you everywhere."

Sonic smirks and wraps an arm around Kira.

"Cute, did she used to cuddle it too, mom~?"

Lilly smiles as she gets up and continues to search for 'Kiki'.

"Of course! I remember that whenever you used to be upset you would just cuddle Sonni."

Kira blushes more and covers her whole face with her hands. Sonic chuckles and gently holds her hands before moving them out of the way.

"Now who's the blushy one~?"

The young female giggles a little before blushing more. Sonic soon puts a hand behind his head, realising how close his face was to Kira's. The two stare into each other's eyes before turning away. Lilly smiles at their behaviour.

"Ah, young love... somehow I always knew that you two would fall for each other~"

The two young hedgehogs blush more but look back at each other and smile. Sonic soon gulps as he slowly moves his hand towards Kira's. Kira looks down and notices Sonic placing it on top of hers.

"S-Sonic? What are you doing?"

The blue blur blushes and quickly moves his hand away.

"S-sorry... I was just... um..."

Lilly giggles and soon looks to the door before smirking.

"Sorry you two, but I think I had better go and get some soup. I just remembered that I don't have any to give you, honey. Now Sonic, you behave yourself while I'm gone, ok~?" 

Kira giggles as Sonic blushes brighter.

"Mom!!"

Lilly giggles.

"Sorry... I'll leave you two alone now."

Lilly smiles and waves before going down the stairs. Both teenagers smile at each other as the sound of the front door closing can be heard.

Sonic soon coughs and groans as he feels his throat start to flare up. Kira lowers her ears as Sonic weakly lays his head on her shoulder.

"You poor thing..."

Sonic coughs again as Kira gently leads him to his bed. She lays him down and feels his head with her hand. Sonic blushes.

"Hmm... you don't feel too hot. But I think a nap would be good."     

Sonic nods and soon wraps himself up in his bed cover, snuggling into it. Kira smiles from how cute he looks and is about to leave. She looks on the ground and soon notices the hand of a plushie sticking out from his pillow. Sonic looks up at her curiously and then notices her kneel down and pick it up.

"Hmm... I wonder what this is."

Sonic blushes brightly as he notices Kira holding Kiki. Kira smirks a little as she sits on the bed next to Sonic.

"So, THIS is Kiki~?"

Sonic uses his bed cover in order to cover his blushing muzzle.

"N-no!!"

Kira giggles.

"I think it's cute. Besides what your mom said before... I have a plushie of you too."

Sonic peeks out from under the bed cover and smirks a little.

"Really~?"

"Well... you are my best friend. I miss you whenever you're gone..."

Sonic smiles a little giving Kira a cuddle. Kira blushes and cuddles back.

"I'm always here for you, Kira."

Kira smiles back and hands Kiki to Sonic before rubbing his ear.

"Thanks Sonic... now, have a little nap, ok?"

Sonic purrs a little and nods before smiling and closing his eyes.

Kira smiles and watches as Sonic snuggles into his bed cover again and start to fall asleep. She stands up before tiptoeing out of the room and closing the door behind her.

"He's so cute when he sleeps..."
