You've been warned!) (Author's Note: I got the idea for this story from the vore story, 'The Boy and the dragon.' Don't kill me, I loved it so much that I had to make this, but I give 50% of the credit to the one that maed, 'The Boy and the dragon,' for the idea. This is sort of simaler for a time, (I hope,) but typing it up was totally werth it. Injoy! There is one name in this story that is in, 'The Boy and the dragon,' I couldn't think of another name. If you think of one, please let me know.) In a cave, deep in a large, but beautiful forest that was covered in winter's snow, a large, majestic, dark red female dragon with silver curved horns, silver spikes and a silver belly layed in her cave, sleeping the night away. She was so dark that the darkness almost hid her. Suddenly, "Hello?" called a voice from the entrance of the cave. The dragon woke up and listened. "Is anyone in here?" the voice called again. Wanting to know who or what was calling, she made her way closer to the sound. She stopped when she saw what it was. It was a small, male human hatchling about five feet tall and seemed about the age of eight to ten years old. He had blue eyes and short messy blond hair, his skin was light in color, as light as they come. He must have heard her, because he called out again. "Is anyone there?" "Yes, I live here," she answered. He must have been surprised to get an answer, since he steped back a few feet. "I'm sorry if I barged in on your home, I'll leave," he said as he turned and started to make his way to the entrance. "You don't have to leave," she said. The boy stopped and turned back around. "It's cold out there and you will certainly freeze to death. You are welcome to sleep here for as long as you please," she added. "Really? Thanks a lot!" he said. "The boy suddenly thought of something. "Hey, can I ask you a question?" he asked. "Sure," she replied, "but first I must ask, why are you out here in winter, all by yourself? Where are your parents?" she asked, but she soon regretted asking that, because his face started to fill with sadness. "They died a month ago, from... They were killed by thieves, as were my brother and sister. I luckily was hidden in a bush where they couldn't see me," he added with tears forming in his eyes. "Oh, I'm so sorry," she said, sadly. "It's ok," he replied, wiping the tears from his eyes. "What's you're name?" she asked, trying to get off the sad subject. "My name is Adric," he answered. "Mine is Ruby," she said. "Ruby? You have an unusual name for a human," he said, hoping to not offend her. "Oh. Well to tell you the truth, I'm not human," she said, but quickly saw fear enter his eyes and added, "Please don't be scared," as she steped out of the shadows to show him what she really was. As he saw what she was, instead of screaming or running, he just stared in fear at the large dark red dragon. "You're a... a... a... dragon," he said, but it only came out as a whisper. He fainted after that, but not befour Ruby caught him with her tail. He obviously feared his doom. Adric woke up the next day, surprised at his surroundings. He would never have expected to be alive, but he also found himself under the wing of the dragon from the night befour. "The sooner I get out of here the better," he thought. He carefully got out from under the wing and ran for the exit, to be met with a cold blast of air, but he was use to this, so he made a run in a random direction. After a short time, he had to stop. He stopped to rest, only to end up coming face to face with a tail, which sent him flying into a tree. After shaking the daze from his head, he looked up to see a large dark purple dragon, though not as big as Ruby. It didn't look happy, instead it licked it's lips, as if tasting him. This, of course, sent Adric into fear. He wanted to be back with Ruby, so with only one thing on his mind, he called out one name. "Ruby!!!" Meanwhile, back at the cave, Ruby heard this and immediately jumped out of her sleep. She looked at her wing, only to find the human gone, but she had expected him to run. "Adric," she thought and followed his now painful screams until she saw him, wrapped in the tail of the dark purple dragon. This only made her very furious, so she landed across from the dark purple dragon with a crash. "What do you want?" the dragon asked, holding tight to the boy in it's grasp, squeezing him, keeping him in pain. "Let him go," she said, "He's mine," she added. Without letting the dark purple dragon reply, Ruby slapped him with her tail, which because of their size difference, sent the dragon flying, it also immediately sent Adric flying out of his grasp, but Ruby caught him with her tail and set him on the ground. Adric looked up at her and said, "Ruby, you came," then he hugged the dark red dragon. "Yes I did, but I need you to trust me. He'll be back soon," she told him with worry in her voice. "Ok," Adric said, not interested in seeing the dark purple dragon again. "Ok Adric, I need you to let me eat you," she said. "What! Eat me!" he yelled, surprised. "I will put you in my storage stomach so that you won't be digested, but I need you to trust me," she told him, getting more worryed by the second. Adric saw the worry in her eyes, and she had just saved him, so obviously, he trusted her. "Ok. I'll do it," he said. "Ok. Get in," she replied, then opened her mouth. Adric jumped in and she closed her mouth. She then wrapped her tongue around his waist and placed him at the back of her throat, almost immediately he could see his legs disappear into her throat, then his chest, then finally, he saw nothing. Since there was no light, he couldn't see a thing, but he could feel everything. Her throat was soft, but very slimy and cramped which made it hard to move, but her throat kept sucking him down. It wasn't to long til he was in the safety of the storage stomach. Of course it was dark, so he still couldn't see a thing, but he could feel everything. The stomach was all slimy and it smelled like dead fish. "This is very fishy," he said, then he laughed, finding that funny. On the upside, it was warm and soft, and he could hear her heart, it was a steady heart beat. It was all enough to put him to sleep. Meanwhile, on the outside, Ruby was beating down the dark purple dragon for threatning Adric, and for coming back for him. She didn't stop until he flew away, yelling and shaking. She then flew back to her cave and went to sleep. When Adric woke up, he was again under her wing, laying against the dark red dragon's chest. This surprised him, he thought that Ruby would still be holding him in her belly for safety. "I think I could actually get use to living here," he said, then went back to sleep, feeling safe. (Five years later.) It was a nice summer's day, not to hot, and there was the right type of breeze to keep cool. In a meadow lay Adric and Ruby. They were very close, though it was uncommon to see these two types of creatures together. Adric was now fifteen, and Ruby and him were closer then anyone could possibly imagine, even though one was human, with the other being a dragon. "Ruby, isn't it nice out today?" Adric asked. "Yes, it is very nice," she replied, "The sun feels nice on my scales," she added as she shifted position to let the sun warm her other side. "I'm going to go get a drink," he said. "Ok, but don't go far, ok?" "Alright!" he replied and ran off to the river. It wasn't far, only a mile or so away. When he got there, he took a sip of water from the river. It was cold and refreshing, but his relaxation was short lived as he felt like... he could be in danger. Adric lifted his head from the river and saw him, it was the dragon from five years ago. He was a little smaller then Ruby, but a lot more ferocious. He was dark purple with blood red spikes down his back, he also had a blood red belly to match his spikes. Unfortunately to Adric's dismay, he saw him too, and to make matters worse, he seemed to recognize him, even though he was older. "You!" He yelled in a deep angry voice. "Oh crap!" Adric yelled as he turned and ran, but was quickly stopped by his tail. "I will not have you escape and get to your savior again," he said and wrapped Adric in his tail, also covering his mouth this time, so that he couldn't speak or yell. "For that case, I guess I should tell you what my name is befour I eat you." This, of course, struck fear into Adric and he started thrashing and wiggling, but to no avail. "My name is Voltor. You are going to be my snack for today, I could easily chew you to bits." This made Adric panic and thrash more, but again, it did nothing. Inside, he knew that he'll never escape from a dragon. "But since you have caused me so much pain, I will eat you alive so you can slowly and painfully dissolve to nothing." It was at that time that Adric started to cry, he knew he was going to die, and he couldn't do a thing to stop it, he couldn't even call Ruby. "Well it's been fun, little snack, but I'm getting hungry," he said. With that said, Voltor threw Adric into his mouth. Without giving the human a chance to fight back, he took one big swallow and sent Adric down the dark slimy tunnel to his doom. The second that Adric reached the stomach, he could already feel the acid. His body started to tingle, which he knew would soon turn to pain, so he started to try and harm him by punching his stomach walls, but sadly, it didn't do any harm, but he wasn't the kind that would just give up. "Well that was a good snack," Voltor said. He started to fly away, then belched. "Looks like..." he stopped. Meanwhile, Ruby was worryed about Adric. It was then that she picked up an all to familiar scent. "Oh, it's just that no good Voltor again." Just then, a horrible thought crossed her mind, making her eyes widen in fear. She sniffed the air again. "He couldn't have," she thought, but then her suspicions were confirmed when she also smelled Adric's familiar scent coming from the same location. "No, it can't be. Please don't let it be true, tell me it didn't happen," she said as she darted in the scent's direction. She nearly screamed in horror, for she had found Adric's scent, but she couldn't see Adric, only Voltor, who had landed to rest. She now knew all to well that it was all true, it had to be. "Voltor!!" she shouted, which woke him up very quickly. "Oh, it's you. What do you want now?" he asked, a small amount of annoyance was in his voice. "Where is Adric?!" she yelled, her eyes were like daggers piercing him. Instead of fear, he just smiled. "You mean that little human kid with blond hair?" he said with a smug smile on his face. "What did you do to him?!" she screamed. "Oh nothing, he's really safe in here," he told her, pointing to his stomach, "He stopped moving about five minutes ago," he added. This only sent Ruby into a rage. "Yeah, I would say just forg... ulp!" she didn't give him a chance to finish, she just didn't care too, knowing that every second was another second closer to Adric dieing, if he was still even alive. "Spit him out right now!!" she screamed, fury in her eyes, but he only smiled at her. "No," he said, then spat in her face. "That does it!" she thought. She took her claw and shoved it into his mouth, surprising him, but then his surprise turned to horror when she grabbed his tongue. "P-p-p-please show mercy!" he pleaded. "You didn't show Adric mercy, did you?!" she questioned, then ripped his tongue right out of his mouth. He screamed in pain, but she then took his jaw and broke it in two. Now not able to speak, he just cried, but it was far from over. Ruby placed one claw on his stomach, then dug it into his chest. Voltor, not able to even yell, flailed. It did nothing because Ruby held him down hard, she wasn't going to have him geting away with Adric. She felt for his stomach and found it, then pulled until it completely ripped from his chest, which sent Voltor into unimaginable pain, but it was short lived. Ruby took his neck into her claws. "Any last words?" she mocked him, knowing darn well that he couldn't speak. He just continued to cry until she snapped his neck like a twig and killed him. Right after Ruby was done with Voltor, her rage quickly turned to worry and sadness. She turned to the stomach and ripped it open to reveal a barely alive Adric, who was now covered in burns, due to the acid. He woke up in extreme pain, since he had fallen unconscious from the lack of oxygen and severe pain. The first thing he saw was Ruby's eyes, he saw her crying. "It's ok, Ruby. I'm fine," he said, even though he was in extreme pain. This made her cry even more, since he was on the brink of death and he was trying to comfort her. Then, all of a sudden, she had an idea. "Adric," she said with sadness in her voice, but with a little hope in it as well, "I have an idea," she said. "What is it?" he asked, but what came out was only a whisper. "I'm going to turn you into a dragon." Adric heard this, but befour he could respond, he fell unconscious. Ruby carefully picked him up with her tail and returned to the cave. By the color of the sky, it looked about noon when Adric woke up, he was still very much hurt with burns all over his body, but as he lay there on the collection of animal fur that Ruby layed out for him, he started to think about what she had said befour he past out. "What do you mean turn me into a dragon?" he asked with curiosity. "I can turn you into a dragon," she said, then continued talking, "so it will heal all your wounds, you will be more durable, stronger, faster, and safer," she said. Adric was still wondering how she was going to do it. "But..." she started to say, but trailed off. "But? But what?" he asked, wondering what she was going to say. She started to tell him. "There's a chance that you will lose all memory of everything that has ever happened in your whole life." When she said that, Adric just stared at her. "Lose my memory?" he asked in utter shock. "Yes, there's a 50/50 chance of you keeping your memory," she said in a sad tone, "but it's your choice," she added, still obviously sad. It was then that Adric started to feel woozy. Ruby looked at him with worry. "Ruby, I don't feel so…" it was then that he past out cold. After he snapped back to reality, he looked to see Ruby looking at him from the corner of the cave. "Are you ok?" she asked, worryed. "Yep, I'm fine now. I guess I was just exhausted, that's all." "Oh thank goodness," she said with a sigh of relief, "I was starting to think you would never wake up," she added. "I have made my decision. I will go through with being transformed into a dragon." She was surprised at this, but just then, her eyes lit up. "That's it!" she yelled, which nearly made Adric jump out of his skin, or what was left of it. "What's it?" he asked. "I'm so stupid. I had forgotten about it," she said and ran into the next room. After a few minutes of hearing a lot of stuff breaking, (which Adric found funny,) she came back with a very shiny gold necklace that had a red gem in the center of it. "This will save you," she said, nearly so excited that Adric was sure she would explode. "What do you mean save me?" Adric asked in confusion. "This necklace will copy your memories into itself, then all I have to do is put it on you and your memories will come back." "That's amazing," Adric said, now very excited and relieved, "Ok, put it on me," he added. "Ok," she said, then lifted Adric's head and put the necklace on him, making sure not to touch his burns. All of a sudden, it was as if his life was flashing befour his eyes. He could see all his memories, from when he had his first horse ride, to when his family was killed, to when he met Ruby. Just then, an idea crossed his mind. "What if I could erase certain memories," he thought. He looked at the memory of his family being killed and wished for it to be gone, the next thing he knew, he couldn't remember it, so he did this with every memory from befour he met Ruby. When he felt that he was done and couldn't remember anything befour he met Ruby, all of a sudden, a light came out of nowhere and he was back in the cave on the fur and looking up at Ruby. "Did it work?" she asked. "Yes," Adric said, then added, "I even erased all my memories from befour I met you." Her look of worry turned to shock. "You did what?" she asked, as if she had heard him wrong. "I erased all of the memories of befour I met you," he said. "Why would you do that?" she asked. "Well, I decided that since I'm going to turn into a dragon, I don't want to remember bad memories of my childhood," he told her. "Oh, ok. I guess it's for the best," she said, still a little shocked at what he did. "So, how do I get transformed into a dragon?" he asked. "Well, I swallow you and you dissolve into me, where you are reformed in my womb as a dragon in an egg. Simple really." "Wow," he said, shocked at how simple it was. Adric was now very excited about becoming a dragon. "Ok, lets do it," he said. "Are you sure about this?" she asked. "Yes, I'm sure." "Ok," she said, then she brought her tongue out of her mouth and slid it under him. It still felt weird, as it pulsed under his body, then she brought it back in and closed her mouth. It was dark, but he could feel himself being tasted by Ruby as she ran her tongue over his body, then with one flick of her tongue, he was sent to her throat, which without warning, sent him down to her stomach, landing him in the acid with a splash. As he landed, his body started to tingle, then he lost feeling in his whole body and without warning, he dissolved into nothing. As Ruby felt Adric dissolve, she realized he still had the necklace on, so she bent over and started to cough and within a minut, the necklace came out. "Don't want to lose this, do we," she said. She rubbed her stomach, feeling her already growing egg. A few months later, Ruby layed her egg and watched as her egg hatched to reveal a very small, black male dragon, which was strange, he should have been a red color, but Ruby didn't care about his color, it was still Adric, so it was fine with her. He had small white horns and white spikes down his back, a white belly and light purple eyes. Ruby took the golden necklace and put it around the small dragons neck. Out of nowhere, a large light engulfed the little dragon, which to her surprise, didn't seem to bother him in the least. When it was gone, she asked her new child one question. "Do you remember me?" However, he just tilted his head to the side and whined. A look of horror struck her face, something was terribly wrong. Ruby's mind was now flying off it's rails, wondering why he didn't remember who she was, and wondering what was so wrong, why it didn't work. "Adric, do you remember? It's me, Ruby," she said to the small black dragon. Worry was on her mind and covered her face, but then he opened his mouth to say something. "You remember," she said, desperation was in her voice, but her heart sank at what he said. "Mommy!" he cheered, then went up and nuzzled her and licked her face. "No," she said in a whisper, as to not upset her baby, she then started to cry. She knew he didn't remember her. "Adric," she sobbed, "Adric please remember," she cried. "Mommy?" he asked, looking at Ruby with concern in his eyes, "are you ok?" he asked, nuzzling her. "Yes, mommy's ok," she said, licking the little dragon. "Yay!" he cried, bouncing around, but then he yawned. Ruby knew what was coming next. "I'm sleepy," he said. He cuddled up next to her and fell asleep. Ruby layed down next to him, placing her wing over him. She layed awake, she kept asking herself the same question. "Why didn't he remember?" She remembered where she got the necklace, it had been a gift from one of her friends a long time ago, her name was Gem. She was a bright blue dragon with bright green eyes and green spikes down her back. She had given it to Ruby as a birthday present and said to use it when she needed it most. "That's it," she thought, "I just have to go see Gem about the necklace," she said. She went to sleep, worrying about tomorrow. The next day Ruby woke up early, so she could make it to Gem's by the afternoon, so she grabbed Adric by the scruff of his neck with her teeth, which made him go limp. She then started to fly towards the mountain that Gem lived in. By the time she got there, Adric was asleep and it was about noon. Ruby peered into the cave, it was lit up with torches and had animal fur in a large pile, which Ruby guessed was Gem's bed. "Gem?" Ruby asked into the cave, but all she got was silence. She picked Adric up and placed him on Gem's bed, letting him sleep. "Gem?" she asked again, walking into the other carved out room. It was pitch black because there were no torches in there. "Gem?" she asked once more, walking slowly into the dark room. "Boo!!!" someone shouted. Ruby screamed, falling to the floor from tripping over her own tail. "Hi," a familiar voice said, "it's been awhile." After an hour or so of getting reacquainted with Gem, Ruby explained her situation. "And that's why I'm here," she finished, then she looked at Gem. "Well," Gem began, "that's interesting. I know how to fix it." "You do?" Ruby asked as she cut into excitement, but Gem continued. "It's also kind of a good thing," she said. "How?" Ruby asked. "Well his childhood was kind of bad, so it would be good for him to start a new life, you know, without all the pain and sadness following him," she said. "That made sense." "It's your decision," Gem said, "let him start a new life or get his memory back." Ruby sat there wondering what to do. She looked up at Adric, now awake and playing with his tail, trying to stomp on it, but moving it out of the way just in time. Seeing him this happy maed her happy, and she didn't want to take his happyness off him. "I have decided." "Well, which is it?" (Author's Note: 'The Boy and the dragon' remake ends here. From here on, it's all my own.) "I'm going to give him a fresh start," Ruby answered. "Good. It'll be the best thing for him," Gem said. This was followed by a baby dragon's painful cry. Adric had maed a mistake, and ended up stomping on his tail. Ruby walked over to Adric and nuzzled him, slowly calming him down. "I think you should rename him, to keep him away from his human life," Gem told Ruby. "I'll call him Eclipse. He'll look like one when flying at night," Ruby replied. "Good name. See you later," Gem said. Ruby said her goodbyes, then grabbed Eclipse by the scruff of his neck with her teeth, making him go limp again, then she flew off to go home. Ruby was almost home. "I'm hungry mommy," Eclipse said as his belly began to growl. Ruby was surprised at herself, she got so worryed about Eclipse's memory that she forgot to get him some food. She landed at home and set Eclipse on her bed. "Stay here," she told him, then she left to get him some fish. Eclipse soon stood up and walked around, looking for food, but there was nothing to eat in the cave. "I'm so hungry," He whined, then he noticed a brown rabbit enter the cave. He started to sneak up on the rabbit, which thanks to his black scales, didn't see him. He managed to get close to the rabbit, but his stomach growled as he pounced. He missed the rabbit as it sped out of the cave, leaving Eclipse on his belly in tears. Ruby returned five minutes later to find her baby upset. She regurgitated four fish from her storage stomach for Eclipse, but he didn't appear to know that she was back, so she regurgitated a 5TH fish and maed sure that it's tail landed on Eclipse's tail, the 5TH fish was a big one. Eclipse looked at his tail and stopped crying once he saw the fish. "Dig in, Eclipse," Ruby told him. Eclipse jumped on the biggest fish and literally did just that, ripping a hole in the fish. "Why were you upset when I came back?" Ruby asked Eclipse, but he ignored the question, being more interested in stuffing his face. Befour long, Eclipse was stuffed and couldn't eat another bite. "What's that, mommy?" Eclipse asked, pointing at the cave entrance. Ruby looked at the cave entrance and saw a white rabbit. "That's a rabbit, Eclipse." "A rabbit came in. I was so hungry and tryed to catch it, but it got away. Why couldn't I get it, mommy?" "Your only a baby, honey. Just wait til your older." Over the next two years, Eclipse grew up a bit and learned somethings, but there were still times when he got into trouble. Ruby cared for him very well, and tryed to keep him out of danger, she really loved him so much. One beautiful summer's day, a family of four humans walked through the forest, a mother, a father, a twenty year old son and a ten year old daughter. Ruby and Eclipse were in there cave, laying on the bed of animal furs, talking. They suddenly heard a, "Hello?" from the entrance of there cave, it was female. "Can I help you?" Ruby asked, smelling the scent of humans. "Maybe. We're looking for owr son," a male replied. "How meny of you are there?" Ruby asked as Eclipse hid behind her wing with only his head showing, he could smell the strange scent and was worryed. "Just four, we're a family," came the answer. "Come in, and don't be scared. We won't hurt you." The two dragons watched as the family came in and stopped in fear once they were seen. "So who are you all?" Ruby asked. "Keith," the father said. "Maxine," the mother said. "Hayden," the son said. "Gracie," the daughter said. They all talked with fear. "I'm Ruby, and the hatchling hiding behind my wing is my son. His name is Eclipse." "Mommy, what are those strange things?" Eclipse asked. "There humans. Eclipse, go play," his mother told him. Eclipse came out from behind Ruby's wing and ran to a corner of the cave, where he played with a pile of animal bones. "What is your lost son's name?" Ruby asked. "Adric," Maxine said. Ruby gasped at that, then her sad gaze traveled across the room, coming to rest on Eclipse. "That's him," she told the humans. "That's your hatchling," Hayden said. "Yes, he's my hatchling, but he was Adric befour he became my hatchling," Ruby said, looking at the humans. "Can you explain?" Keith asked. "Mommy! I'm scared!" Eclipse yelled as he ran back to his mother, Gracie had gone over to him, but that was more then enough to scare him. Ruby layed her head down and opened her mouth, which Eclipse ran straight into. The humans were shocked when Ruby swallowed Eclipse, sending him to her belly. Now that he was in his mother's storage stomach, Eclipse felt safe. He curled up and fell into a deep sleep. "How could you eat your own hatchling?!" Gracie asked, accidentaly yelling. "He's in my storage stomach. The storage stomach doesn't digest, and he feels safe in there. He's already asleep. He's resistant to acid anyway, all dragons are." "The guys that attacked us didn't kill us, they left us to die. It's a miracle that we all survived," Hayden said. "Adric was ten when he came to my cave, it was in winter. He ran out and a no good dragon called Voltor caught him. Adric called for me, so I left my cave and rescued him. That was the 1ST time that I ate him..." Ruby was interrupted. "You ate him!!" the four humans shouted in shock. "Let her finish," said a familiar female dragon as she walked past the humans and sat beside Ruby. "This is Gem. Now, back to Adric and Eclipse. Adric let me eat him, for he trusted me. With Adric asleep in my storage stomach, I took care of Voltor, then came home and slept. At sometime that night, I woke up and brought him out, he slept under my wing. Over the next five years, we became close friends, but one day, something... horrible happened." Ruby became sad at that dreadful memory, but she continued. "We were laying in a meadow that day. Adric left me to get a drink at the river, only a mile or so away, but Voltor caught him, and this time, ate him. I was geting worryed, and then I smelled Voltor, and soon after, I smelled Adric's familiar scent coming from the same location. I hurryed to Voltor and killed him, then I ripped his stomach open and rescued Adric, but," Ruby started to sob, "he was covered... in burns, due to the acid, and... he was... on the," her sobbing got harder, "brink of death." She suddenly burst into tears, crying loudly as she hid her head under her wing. In her belly, Eclipse woke up to the sound of his mother crying. "Mommy! Mommy!" he yelled in worry, desperately wanting out. Ruby may have been crying, but she still let Eclipse out. "Mommy!" Eclipse yelled, hurrying to his mother. Gem lifted Ruby's wing, showing Eclipse nuzzling and licking his mother's face, trying to calm her down, but having no luck. "Come with me. I'll finish the story," Gem said as she left, she didn't want to upset her friend more, or upset her friend's hatchling. As the humans left with Gem, Eclipse started to cry as well, it upset him to see his mother so upset. Ruby saw that she was upseting her hatchling and hugged him, he hugged her back. Gem stopped two miles away from Ruby's cave, but the two crying dragons could still be heard, it maed Gem and the humans sad. "As you should know, Voltor was digesting Adric. Well," Gem continued the story, "Ruby told Adric that she was going to turn him into a dragon, then Adric blacked out. Ruby returned home, carrying Adric. Adric woke up and agreed with the idea of being transformed into a dragon. They saved Adric's memory to a special necklace that I gave to Ruby as a birthday present, but Adric erased certain memories 1ST. After that, Ruby ate him. Adric didn't go to Ruby's storage stomach this time, she sent him to her other stomach, the one that digests. He landed in the acid, where he lost feeling in his whole body, and painlessly dissolved into nothing. Adric had been dissolved into Ruby, where he was reformed in Ruby's womb as a dragon in an egg. A few months later, Ruby layed her egg and watched as Eclipse hatched. She put the necklace on him, but his saved memory didn't return. She came to me with Eclipse and told me her situation. It was also kind of a good thing, his childhood was kind of bad. I told Ruby this, and told her that it would be good for Eclipse to start a new life, without all the pain and sadness following him. I could have gotten his memory back, but Ruby decided to give him a fresh start. I told her that a fresh start will be the best thing for him, then I thought of renaming him, to keep him away from his human life. Ruby agreed and renamed him Eclipse. He'll look like one when flying at night, so it was a good name for him. Well, that's it. Ruby has razed him. She's a great mother, and there closer then ever," Gem finished the story. "So you can still get his memory back?" Keith asked. "I'm afraid not, not anymore. The saved memory stayed in the necklace, but the necklace can only hold the memory for a year, but after that, the saved memory is lost for good. I'm sorry, but it's to late for that. Even if I could still get his memory back, he wouldn't know any of you. He erased every memory from befour he met Ruby, so he had erased you four," Gem explained. They then realized that it was quiet, the sound of two crying dragons was gone. Gem and the humans returned to find Ruby and her hatchling fast asleep. "Guess we'll be staying over. If you want to sleep in me, that's fine," Gem said to the humans. The humans started walking over to Eclipse and his mother, not liking that idea. "Eclipse is scared of you," Gem reminded the humans. The humans stopped, not wanting to scare Eclipse. They walked over to the bone pile and slept there, Gem slept at the entrance of the cave. In the morning, Ruby, Gem and the humans woke up, but Eclipse wanted to sleep a little longer. "Can owr son come back with us for a bit?" Maxine asked. "No, bad idea. He's no longer your son, he's Ruby's son, and besides, he's a dragon, and only a hatchling," Gem said. "The humans at home could kill him," Gracie said, geting worryed. "He's not going. Eclipse is my only child, and I'm not going to take the risk of losing him. I almost lost a friend, I won't lose my son," Ruby bluntly told the humans. Keith, Maxine and Hayden didn't like this, but in there hearts, they knew that Gracie and the dragons were right, Eclipse could end up being killed. "You can always come visit him," Ruby said. The humans accepted that, knowing that the best thing for Eclipse was to let him stay with his mother. Just then, Eclipse woke up. Gracie walked up to him and stopped ten feet from Ruby, but Eclipse was hiding behind Ruby's wing. "Come out, Eclipse. The humans won't harm you," Gem told him. Eclipse slowly came out and Gracie held her hand up toward Eclipse. He slowly walked up to her and sniffed her hand, then he looked up at her and sniffed. Eclipse started to smile in a friendly way, but then Eclipse did something to Gracie without warning, something that she never expected him to do, he tackled her in his sudden excitement. She landed on her back with a thud, with the excited two year old hatchling standing on her, affectionately licking her face like crazy, covering her face in his drool. "Stop it!" Gracie yelled at him. This only maed him cry as he ran away from her, running back to his mother. "Dragon hatchlings are like that," Gem told Gracie as Eclipse was comforted by Ruby. "You'll have to forgive him, your the 1ST humans he's seen, and we lick others to show owr friendship, it's just the way we are. Gracie, when you yelled at him, that told him that you don't want him as a friend," Ruby told her. Gracie got up, went over to Eclipse and placed a hand on him, trying to let him know that she did want him as a friend, but all she got was a scratche on the arm from the upset hatchling's sharp claws. She jumped back, screaming in pain as Eclipse's claws easily tor through her skin, leaving behind four scratchs. "Try again in a month," Ruby told Gracie. The humans and Gem soon left to go home. Over the years, Eclipse grew big and strong, he also became a very fast teenager, making him a dangerous teenage dragon, but he still had a kind heart, though he was sometimes mischievous. He's found friends in the four humans, and they more then trusted him. Eclipse is now fifteen. The humans were coming to visit Eclipse, but the teenage dragon was planning something mischievous, Ruby knew that, but she had no idea what he was going to do. The humans arrived at Ruby and Eclipse's cave early in the morning and walked in, not seeing Eclipse as they walked past him, he was hidn in the shadows, his black scales blended in with the darkness. "Hi," Ruby greeted the humans, then she saw Eclipse sneaking up on the humans, he was definitely up to something. "Hi, Ruby. Where's Eclipse?" Gracie replied. She got worryed as she felt something wet slowly running up her back, then she screamed as the wet thing grabbed her. The other three humans looked up and gasped, Eclipse had Gracie wrapped in his tongue. Gracie looked at Eclipse in fear, Eclipse smiled mischievously at her. Ruby smiled, now knowing Eclipse's plan. Eclipse pulled Gracie into his mouth and closed it, then to the horror of the other three humans, Eclipse tilted his head back and swallowed. A lump appeared in Eclipse's neck and traveled down his long neck, then vanished into his rib cage. Eclipse looked down at the three humans smiling, then he rudely belched on purpose, then he said, "She was delicious," then he started to purr pleasurably as he felt Gracie hitting his storage stomach walls. "At least your injoying it, I don't think she is," Ruby laughed as she heard Eclipse's purring. "She isn't, but at least she's safe," Eclipse replied as he walked over to his mother and layed down beside her. "I told you not to do that if your going to eat them," Ruby told him. "I was just having some fun," Eclipse laughed. "Don't do it again. You don't have to sneak up on them to get to eat them," Ruby told Eclipse. "Good thing, Gracie knows where I am now," Eclipse laughed again. Eclipse stopped laughing and started to cough. Soon after he started coughing, he coughed Gracie up. Gracie sat up and glared angrily at Eclipse. "What gave you the right to eat me?!" she yelled at him. Eclipse just licked his lips, letting Gracie know that he liked her taste, but then the two dragons looked at the humans seriously. "Your just lucky that I was the one that ate you. It's geting more dangerous up here, so you have to be careful. Not all dragons are kind like us. If the wrong dragon gets you, you could be killed," Eclipse warned. When the humans went home, Eclipse went with them. He left once the humans were out of danger. In the morning in the human village, Keith, Maxine, Hayden and Gracie saw a teenage human that looked like Adric, so they started running over to him, calling for Adric, but the teenager didn't appear to have the name, he kept walking away from them without looking back. Gracie then remembered the black dragon that had vored her that one time. "Eclipse!" she called. She was right, it was Eclipse, but calling him was a very big mistake. Eclipse stopped, gasping at hearing his name. Other humans noticed this and suddenly, Eclipse was surrounded by distrusting glares. A human walked up to Eclipse, holding a blood stained knife. "Why would your name be Eclipse?" the man asked him, threatening Eclipse with the knife. He grabbed Eclipse's silver necklace and yanked it off his neck, braking the chain, but the necklace immediately dissolved, as did the knife. Eclipse fell to his hands and knees, crying out in pain. The humans watched in fear as Eclipse started to change shape, his clothing ripped off him as he got bigger, this also resulted in him accidentaly damaging some buildings, for without the necklace, he was forced to transform. Eclipse was transformed back to a black dragon that Keith, Maxine, Hayden and Gracie recognized. "Kill it!" a male human yelled. Eclipse glared furiously at Keith, Maxine, Hayden and Gracie, scaring all four of them. "I trusted you!!" Eclipse furiously shouted, then he took off befour any of the humans could harm him. Eclipse had the heart to help get a little girl out of a tall tree at the edge of the forest befour he left, but once the human kid was safely on the ground, he flew off and disappeared over the tree tops. Eclipse returned home, bad tempered. "So, how did it go?" Ruby asked him. "It didn't, those four humans just betrayed me!!!" Eclipse roared. "What!?! How!?! Why!?!" Ruby shouted in worry. "There is no why, just the how!! They called me by my name!!" Eclipse shouted. This put Ruby in a bad mood too. "They should know better then to do that to a dragon disguised as a human!! We disguised you as a human so that they could safely have sometime with you in the village!! We should have known that they'd try to get you killed!!" Ruby shouted. "I can't believe we trusted them!!" Eclipse shouted. "At least your alive, and we know that we can't trust them," Ruby said to Eclipse as she gave him a hug. Eclipse hugged Ruby back, but when they pulled back, Eclipse growled. "The next time that I see those four humans, I'll kill them!!!" Eclipse roared, his words echoed through out the cave. "Unfortunately, your not going to get that chance," Ruby told him. The four humans went to Ruby and Eclipse's cave early the next morning to talk to Eclipse, but to there disappointment, the cave was dark and empty, Ruby and Eclipse had already moved out. That was actually a good thing, for Eclipse would have killed them. Without warning, a group of five hundred humans ran into the cave to kill Eclipse, and Ruby would most likely have been killed too. Keith, Maxine, Hayden and Gracie were now relieved that Ruby and Eclipse had left. They returned to the village, knowing that Ruby and Eclipse were safe, but also knowing that if a dragon caught them, Ruby and Eclipse won't be around to save them. Gem let Ruby and Eclipse move in with her, since there cave was now to dangerous for them to live in. It took both Gem and Ruby to calm Eclipse down. Over the next fifteen years, Gem, Ruby and Eclipse forgot about the four humans and lived happy lives, but the same couldn't be said about the four humans, they never forgot Adric, or Eclipse. This maed them sad, but neither side saw the other, ever again. The end
