August 15th, 2010 After asking him, Max said he did indeed have some abilities, and he had practiced them in secret. "An Indigo Child is supposed to know how to use his or her abilities naturally," he said. "That's what I read anyway." So we walked to a clearing in the woods. The place was a wide open field with tall green grass swaying in the wind. Our fur blew in the wind as well. Max adjusted his glasses. "This is the place?" "Yep!" After I said that I pointed out some gray rocky forms amongst the grass. "These," I said, "are your targets. Do whatever you can to them." Max closed his eyes and placed his hands together, palm to palm. He stood there for a few seconds. Nothing happened. Suddenly, the wind seemed to pick up. It grew stronger and stronger, until the trees behind us were shaking so violently I thought they would fall over. I steadied myself, trying not to be blown away. Then I heard a crack. Then several more. I watched astonished as every single one of the boulders cracked in half as if they were fortune cookies. The wind instantly died down, and Max opened his eyes. "I don't know if you gathered this, but...I can control the wind. If I can get it blowing hard enough...I can focus it to certain things. I was still staring open-mouthed at what had just happened. I could never pull off something like that. After a few more minutes we walked back to the cabin. I have decided to keep Max under my wing in exchange for his abilities and services. He has agreed. Tomorrow we will search for more transformed humans.
