Backstory: A brother of Genos, as well as the son of Verachus, Mazelius was imprisoned by Vulgros during the invasion of Heaven, at the beginning of time, casting him into the Abyss, thus granting him the title, the 'Angel of the Abyss'.

He would not rest, until he escapes from the Abyss itself, with someone's help...that's where Danny and his sister, Serena, come in. They helped Mazelius survive from the Trial of Fate, as well as the false crimes that the court has created. Danny was told that if he helped him, Mazelius would help him get to Vulgros.

Being a successful task, Danny and Serena then free Mazelius from his prison once the Angel of the Abyss was declared innocent in the trial. Mazelius now becomes an ally to Danny.
