"Unca Chwuck!"

A little four year old female hedgehoglet, named Kazu, smiles as she runs across the playground and over to an elder hedgehog male. The elder male chuckles as he holds his arms out and awaits his cuddle. He smiles and picks up the little girl, holding her in his arms.

"Hello sweetheart... how was school?"

The little female smiles proudly as she shows a plastic box to her uncle. 

"School was fwun! Me made some cwookies!"

Chuck smiles as he looks at the box, noticing some little heart-shaped cookies inside. The cookies were pink and covered with silver-coloured sprinkles.

"Wow, they look very yummy!"

Kazu giggles as she licks her lips.

"Me can't wait to eat them! But they're for mummy and daddy..."

Uncle Chuck lowers his ears a bit as he puts her down and holds her hand, walking towards another playground within the school.

"Oh, they're for Valentine's Day?"

Kazu notices Chuck lower her ears and takes a cookie out of her box before giving it to him. 

"You cwan have one early, Unca Chwuck!"

Chuck smiles and takes the cookie before biting into it.

"Aww, thank you sweetheart. Mm, this is very tasty!"

Kazu wags her tail happily as she walks beside Chuck. Once Chuck had finished the cookie he kneels down and gives Kazu a kiss on her cheek before standing up and continuing to walk. Kazu giggles and nuzzles her head against Chuck's hand. 

"You're welcome, Unca Chwuck!"

Chuck smiles and soon stops at a nearby school entrance. He sits on a bench and lets go of Kazu's hand.

"Go ahead and play on the climbing frame if you want to, sweetheart. Your brother might be a little while..."

"Ok, Unca Chuck."

Kazu giggles as she run over to a nearby climbing frame and starts to climb the ladder. Chuck chuckles and watches as she climbs to the top and waves. He smiles and waves back before watching her go down the slide.

"What a brave child, just like her father was."

Kazu soon gets up off the slide and starts to run around the playground, passing other children as she goes. Chuck chuckles again as he watches her run around. 

"<b>Definitely</b> like her father..."

"Uncle Chuck!"

Chuck smiles as he looks over and notices a young male hedgehoglet run towards his direction. He holds out his arms and chuckles as the young male cuddles him. The young male, named Samuel, wags his tail as he receives a cuddle back from his uncle. 

"Hello, sonny-boy... how was your day?"

The young hedgehoglet smiles as he looks at his feet, shyly.

"Hi Uncle Chuck. It was pretty good, thank you..."

Chuck smiles from the little boy's manners and pets his head before getting up and walking over to Kazu. Samuel walks beside Chuck but soon shyly holds onto his hand. Chuck chuckles from Samuel's shy behaviour and soon calls out to Kazu.

"Kazu, we're going home now!"

The young female pouts a little as she stops running and crosses her arms. Chuck chuckles again and soon watches as Kazu walks over and holds onto his other hand. He walks beside the children and soon looks down at Samuel.

"So sonny-boy, what did you do at school today?"

Sammy smiles and shyly looks up at Chuck.

"Mostly drawing... I made one for mummy and daddy tomorrow."

"Oh? May I see it?"

Kazu soon stops and lets go of Chuck's hand.

"I wanna see it twoo!"

Samuel smiles and opens his backpack before giving the drawing to Chuck. He puts his hands behind his back and shyly looks down at his feet.

"I know it's nothing special..."

Kazu smiles as she points at it.

"Lwook, it's me!"

Chuck smiles as he looks down at the drawing. The drawing consisted of Kazu, Samuel, Chuck, Sonic and Kira all holding hands and smiling.

"Nothing special? I think it's wonderful, sonny-boy!"

"It is?"

"Of course. In fact I feel honoured that you put me in here too. Your mother and father are going to love this!"

Samuel smiles as he puts the drawing back into his backpack. 

"Thanks, Uncle Chuck."

Chuck smiles and takes the children's hands again before continuing to walk them home. 

Around ten minutes later, Chuck walks over to a door and knocks on it. Kazu soon hides the box of cookies in her backpack before putting it back on. Samuel smiles and wags his tail as he waits for his parents to open the door.

A few seconds later, an adult male opens the door and gasps as Samuel and Kazu jump onto him.

"Daddy!"

The adult male, who was named Sonic, chuckles and sits up as he hugs his children and kisses their heads.

"Whoa, that was quite a welcome!"

Samuel and Kazu both giggle as they climb off Sonic and let him stand up. Sonic ruffles their hair and smiles up at Chuck.

"Thanks for picking the kids up, Unc. Miles has been crying quite a lot!"

Chuck chuckles and gives his nephew a hug.

"It's not a problem, sonny. Samuel and Kazu have grown up so quickly..."

Sonic smiles as he looks down at the kids.

"They sure have. Seems like only yesterday that I was changing their diapers!"

Kazu giggles.

"Silly daddy... me and Sammy are potty trained now!"

Sonic chuckles and ruffles Kazu's hair.

"I know, sweetheart."

Kazu giggles again before skipping into the house. Samuel smiles and looks up at Sonic. The adult male smiles down at Samuel before picking him up.

"Come on, little buddy... let's follow your sister."

Before Sonic walks inside, Chuck places a hand on his shoulder. Sonic turns around.

"Sorry sonny, I better get going."

Sonic smiles and hugs Chuck again.

"It's ok Unc. Thanks again for picking up the kids."

Chuck smiles and ruffles Samuel's hair.

"It's not a problem. Bye sonny... bye Sammy!"

Sonic and Samuel smile and wave before heading inside. Sonic soon puts Samuel down and walks beside him to the living room.

"So... how was school, Sammy?"

"It was ok, daddy. I did some drawing and painting."

Sonic smiles and watches as Samuel sits down on the couch and puts down his backpack.

"Awesome! Is there anything that we can look at?"

"Not really, it's a surprise..."

"Ahh, I see. Well I'm sure it'll be a great surprise when you show us!"

Samuel smiles and hugs Sonic as he sits next to him.

"Thanks, daddy."

Sonic smiles as Samuel snuggles into his chest.

"You're being very cuddly today..."

Samuel blushes a little as he looks up at Sonic.

"Sorry daddy... I just like having cuddles."

Sonic chuckles as he pulls him closer to him.

"Aww... well, I like cuddles too. Especially when they're from you and Kazu."

Samuel giggles as he closes his eyes and relaxes on Sonic's chest. The young male wags his tail as he holds Samuel close.

"Dinner time, boys!"

Samuel feels his ears perk up as he quickly gets up and wags his tail.

"Yay! Dinner time!"

Sonic chuckles and gets up before ruffling his hair and following him to the dinner table. He smiles and gently ruffles Miles' head as he sees him in his highchair. Samuel and Kazu both sit in their places and begin to eat their meals, talking to Kira and Kazu about Valentine's Day.

After finishing their meal, Kira smiles as she notices Samuel and Kazu yawning and rubbing their eyes. Sonic chuckles as he puts down his knife and fork.

"Looks like our little rascals are sleepy after their big dinner~"

Kira giggles as she stands up from the table and walks over to Miles. She picks him up before walking over to Kazu and picking her up too. She kisses their cheeks as she begins to walk out of the kitchen. Sonic smiles and walks over before picking up Samuel. He chuckles as Samuel yawns and snuggles into his chest. 

Kira smiles as she carries Kazu and Miles up the stairs.

"Guess we'll have to take our little angels to beddy-byes~"

"I guess we do... they'll need their sleep for Valentine's Day tomorrow."

As Sonic and Kira approach the bedrooms of their children, they both dress their children in their pajamas. Samuel and Kazu both run to the bathroom and start to clean their teeth.

Kira kisses Miles before putting him into his cot. She smiles as she watches him start to drift to sleep.

"Good night, my little angel..."

Kira then follows Kazu into the bathroom and smiles as her and Sonic both watch Samuel and Kazu clean their teeth.

"Now, make sure you get your teeth nice and clean, sweeties."

Samuel and Kazu turn to their mother and smile as they nod their heads.

"Yes, mama."

"We will, mama."

The hedgehoglets soon finish cleaning their teeth. They both step off their stools and smile up at their parents. Kazu puts her hands behind her back as she opens her mouth.

"My teeth are clean, mama!"

Kira smiles as she checks her teeth and nods.

"Ok, sweetie, off to bed. I'll come with you, ok?"

Kazu smiles up at Kira as she runs off to her room, Kira following after her.

Sonic, who was still in the bathroom with Samuel, kneels down and smiles at him.

"You finished cleaning your teeth, little buddy?"

The young male looks up and nods before blushing a little.
