"A Sibling's Kiss" "K-kit?" Melanie blushed furiously as Charlie whispered about his discovery, her brown eyes still locked onto Charlie's green eyes, "Y-you found it?" "I-I did," Charlie nodded shyly, "I understand if you don't want to talk to me..." "C-charlie!" Melanie whispered in shock, "Maybe you can help me understand what I wrote." "Aren't I still in trouble?" Charlie asked out loud. His dad heard his most recent question and chucked a bit. "No kiddo, you're not in trouble," their dad answered. "He, he's talking to me," Melanie answered as she nervously got the leftovers out of the microwave, "He thought he messed up our dinner." "Oh, okay, kiddos," he answered, "Can you get mine out as well, please?" "Sure daddy," Charlie nodded as he went go get his dad's leftovers out. He fumbled the container it was in for a bit, but was able to steady it and let his dad load his leftovers in the microwave. His dad then shooed Charlie and Melanie over to the table and helped them up as his food cooked, then brought their food to them. Despite Melanie making a silly face at the leftovers, they started to enjoy their leftovers. Charlie had the ziti from the previous evening, Melanie had meatloaf their dad whipped up a few days prior and their dad had some enchiladas verde. They were both surrpised that their dad was home as they were sorting out their mixed-up few days but at the same time, his presence helped relax them a bit. This calm, they both thought may allow the two to finally talk without shying away from each other. They dad chuckled as they started to smile the first time that day. "So, how did school go for you two?" Their dad asked as he carefully at his food. "It went good today, but I was feeling a little shy," Charlie answered. "Didn't even have fun with Kyle?" "I did play with him, I was just feeling shy," Charlie nodded softly as Melanie also thought how to answer their dad. "School was good today as well, daddy," Melanie answered, giggling as she called him 'daddy' for the first time since she was about five. "Just as shy as Charlie today?" "N-no, I was alright," Melanie answered as she quickly ate her meatloaf. Charlie laid his digit over his muzzle as if he was quieting her down. He knew she was fibbing about being shy as he observed her at recess being very odd. But since it was something he wanted to talk about without their dad knowing about it, he kept quiet as he made a mess out of the ziti. Melanie blushed a bit as well, but sighed in relief as Charlie kept quiet as they continued to eat together. "What did you do today daddy?" charlie asked their father. "Lots of stuff," he answered, "I had a big project trying to design a few klins for the cement industry, that's why I was running behind." "Ooooh, sounds fun," Charlie noddled. "Not till you get into all the science and math and the customer," their dad teased Charlie. As Charlie found out, Melanie was artistic and loved making creative art. Charlie could do some good works too but like his dad, engineering was more of his interest so listening to dad's work stories were very interesting to him. "Dad...," Melanie fussed, "That's boring!" "Not as bad as listening to someone in the daycare and preschool sector," their dad smirked, "Do remember, this before I had you two little darlings. But boy, one girl I dated kept grossing me out with mentions of all sorts of icky things. I appreciated it more now since my kiddos are like big daycare students but it's not good supper conversation." "Daddy, you gotta point!" Charlie giggled, "Dun think a girlfriend wants to listen to you talk 'bout me and Mel's Pampers." All three of them giggled and chuckled in agreement as their dad went to clean them up. "Boy kiddo," their dad commented to Charlie, "who's gonna clean your muzzle when you move out or get married?" Charlie blushed furiously at his dad's questions...as did Melanie. To the kits, their dad's question ruined the calming atmosphere the dinner table had. Realizing that, their dad ruffled both their hair and smiled at the two. "Sorry kiddos, I think I might have said that wrong." "It's okay daddy," Charlie answered, "Can I bathe early tonight?" "Sure can kiddo," he answered, "I don't have anything planned for you two to do tonight so you are both free to do what you like." "Thankie daddy!" Charlie smiled as Melanie hopped off the table, waiting for Charlie to hop off as well. Once free of the booster seat, Charlie also hopped down and went to get his jammies and a fresh diaper. But before he could get to the bathroom, Melanie gently held Charlie's paw and nuzzled his cheek. "Let's talk about my dairy after we both bathe, okay?" Melanie asked, "And no pants tonight, Kit." Charlie blushed as she tugged his jammie bottoms out of his paws and tippy-toed back to her room. Their dad usually made them wear some sort of bottoms in the house, about the least they could wear diaper covers though being just in diapers was normal for kits. It was his way for making up for about eight years of having the modesty of little todders. However, old habits died heard and both Melanie and Charlie found ways to get out of their bottoms. Charlie then climbed into the tub and blushed as he bathed himself. Was it bad he knew how Melanie felt by reading her diary? Or was it good that someone finally read her thoughts? Unlike last night, he was doing better keeping his lustful thoughts to himself as he carefully cleaned himself, then hopped on out and dried himself off. After getting his top and his diaper on, he toddled down the hall and found Melanie waiting for him, tapping her foot impatiently and still shaking her head as if he forgot something. "Hey now," Charlie pouted, "I didn't take my time or be naughty!" Melanie tried to keep a straight face till she giggled and booped Charlie's nose. "No, it's not that," Melanie blushed, "I'm just impatient to share what you've read." Charlie noddled as the two swapped places, "I have a blanket set up behind the couch, Kit. I'll meet you there." "O-okay Mel," Charlie blushed as he toddled to the playroom, hoping their dad wasn't looking around to see if they were behaving. As he went down the hall and peeked aroudn, the coast was clear and a few moments later, he opened and closed the playroom door looking for the blanket. After a few moments of looking, he found her princess blanket spread across the floor and found Melanie's diary laying on it. The key was gone though, probably in the paws of Melanie so he just sat down and wriggled a bit as he patiently waited for her. About a few minutes later, Melanie found her way over to Charlie, dressed up in a cute dark blue toddler's blouse with poofy sleeves a lilac bow in both her hair and at the base of her tail and of course their diapers. She smiled but blushed as saw Charlie waiting for her, also shy and blushing as well. They both really wanted to get to talking about what they had found in her diary and what they had gone through the last few days together. She was being fidgety as she kneeledown on the blanket, patting her hip as she shyly wagged her tail. "Lay beside me, Kit," Melanie cooed as she laid down, bringing her diary to her paws, "That way we can keep it just between us." Charlie noddled as she laid down on her back, watching as Charlie pulled up alongside Melanie, his paw shyly wandering up her side and resting on her diaper. He tried to withdraw, but Melanie laid her paw there and smiled. "Mel? I-I shouldn't do this," Charlie blushed soflty. "Kit, i-it's okay," Melanie blushed and smiled, "You touched me there when you changed my diaper all the time. In fact, I'd like it if you left your paw there." The two blushed as Charlie looked up, his paw wndering to her waistband as she revealed her key to the diary. As she saw where he left his paw, she smiled in approval. She trusted Charlie enough and noddled to let him know it's alright, he could keep it here as long as he liked. "M-Mel, why did dad stop letting us change each other?" Charlie asked shyly. "Since you brought that up kit, let me share what I learned the last few days," Melanie answered hesitantly, "I think I might know why." "Is it what I read, in those books?" Charlie asked nervously. "It is," Melanie answered, "Boys...and girls...pair together, their parts meet together and -" "So boys use their penis to enter a girl and rub together?" Charlie asked, "It's okay, I read a bit on reproduction so I know what you're talking about." "Y-yes, it's like that," Melanie answered, "Please, don't tell Kyle or Jessie till they learn it themselves, okay?" "Why's that?" Charlie blushed. "They aren't like us," Melanie blushed, "Well, they are like us too. Don't you know the way Jessie and Kyle look at each other sometimes?" "I-I kinda see it, do you think?" "I think they have an attaction to each other," Melanie blushed, "It's not illegal but society hasn't warmed up to it yet. Based on religion and heredity." "Mel," Charlie blushed, "I told you I know that. I agree the religion stuff is stupid but the heredity part does need considered. Remember the section in that book we have that talks about that line of kings where they mated to keep their lands and stuff and it ended badly?" "Y-you read it too? I guess we are b-both curious," Mel blushed, "But as I said, we're like Kyle and Jessie...I think we're smitten with each other." "Smitten?" Charlie blushed, "I knew it...you've been feeling it too?" "Mhmm...Uh-huhs," Melanie nodded softly, "More on that later though, I want to share my diary to explain that. But, our best friends aren't as aware of knowledge as we are. They are still smart, but they are just normal school-aged kids." "I understand, Mel," Charlie nodded softly, "I don't think those two are ready..." The two kept thinking about it. While the four acted like normal school kids out in the public, Mel had saw Jessie be very amorous with Kyle when she slept over with the kittens of the Burundi family. Sometimes the two thought they were alone but as Mel had watched, she saw Kyle give a kiss to Jessie that was more than being a sweet sibling. If the two knew about all the things that Charlie and Melanie knew through books and then through Mel's class they might not be ready to accept the responsiblities of that knowledge. The more they thought about it, they too blushed. The two had their share of moments as Charlie found out and they had a lot to understand from that. So, Melanie laid a pawdigit over his muzzle and nodded softly. She was ready to share what was in her dairy with Charlie as she gazed down at him, opening the book to her first entries and started to read the passages to him. They were both entranced as they started to share those very passages. The two blushed as they realized they had some very private moments very early in life; that on top of the many experiences they had to endure including those years with their abusive mother. But after those trying times, they shared the few memories of the two siblings learing to live with their special needs...and even appreciating them as well. "Kit, you know that siblings imprint themselves so they don't try to make relationships right?" Melanie asked Charlie. "I know...but I wonder sometimes if that doen't work all the time or we're just imagining that," Charlie answered, blushing when he thought about it. "Possible, but," Melanie answerd, "With all those times we protected each other long time ago...I'm glad that didn't happen." "S-same here," Charlie blushed as he looked up at Melanie, "Because I don't know how either one of us could have made it without lots of bad things happening to us." Charlie did have a point, while their father was dealing with the divorice and all the struggles the two went through, they really only had each other at times. That perhaps was one of the reasons they were so insperable was that they depended on each other. They liked it and they wondered if their dad knew that the two had to take care of each other like that. They both blushed as their muzzles met, the two softly nuzzling each other as they thought about it. They continued on, listening to some of Melanie's early days in preschool and their experiences with other cubs, wondering why they were different and why they seemed more dependend on their caretakers than they were (even though they both needed diaper changes). Eventually though the passages talked about the Burundi kittens and how those two broke the ice and got Charlie and Melanie to open up to the rest of the world socially. It was weird that two siblings who ended up being similar to them would be the ones to help those two finally overcome their rough toddlerhood. "When you read about our early encounters, the first kiss, the first of our naughty playtimes, did you remember those too?" Melanie asked as she blushed. "I-I did remember," Charlie answered shyly as he petted her cheek, "It made me think about now and then...and we both felt the same strange stuff." "Kit, we can call it arousal now," Mel blushed some more as she murred softly from the petting, "But it did feel good, didn't it." "S-sure did," Charlie nodded softly as they continued through the passages, revealing more about what was going on till they came on Charlie's 8th birthday and when their dad started to make them understand modesty a bit. The two blushed as they gazed into each other's eyes; green met brown as their paws started to pet each other's cheek. "I think dad has been keeping us seperate because he didn't want us to do what we are doing," Melanie blushed and whimpered, "But...is it wrong that I...that I love, you?" Charlie blushed hard and swallowed a bit as she asked him that very question. He was wondering the same thing as he read the passages as well as his reactions. "Mel, do, do you rub yourself like you saw me on my plush?" Charlie bit his lip as he gazed at Melanie, asking that very question. He had heard some bumping noises from time to time. He thought she had a hard time sleeping but now...he thought she might have been rubbing herself to the fox plush she had. "I-I do, Kit," Melanie blushed hard, "But it isnt' the same as that day we humped the pillow together and kissed. None if it is the same without you being in the same place...maybe even you in place of the plush. I heard you crying my name. I thought you were hurting but, you wanted me." "M-mel?" Charlie asked her shyly, "Do you want to know how I feel? I mean when I read that you wanted to love me?" "Y-yes Kit," she asked in anticipation, hoping that all she had been feeling was not just her own longings, "Is it wrong for me to love my littermate?" "N-no. No!" Charlie cried happily, "Because I feel the same way. All that doubt and all but to know that you feel the same." "Charlie, I mean Kit," Mel gasped happily and quietly, "I love you!" "Mel, I love you too, my baby sis!" Charile cheered quietly. The two gazed again, but this time, Charlie leaned up into Melanie. He kept getting closer and closer, fighting his shyness till his lips met her. He cling tight to Melanie and he lovingly kissed her. He had wanted this so long since he celebrated his 8th birthday and this time it wasn't to repay Melanie for her random pubic kiss, but because he loved her. He loved his sister and just couldn't deny it any more. Melanie smiled and blushed as he kissed her, but slowly rolled he muzzle around and allowed her lips to meet his. The two blushed and purred softly as they held the kiss as long as their breaths allowed, then gently sat up when they finished. "How was that, Kit?" Melanie asked. "W-wonderful," Charlie gasped happily as she gazed into her eyes, the two scooting back a bit just in case their dad decided to peek in. They knew now why they were so shy...they couldn't figure how why they felt so much love for each other but now, they knew how each other felt and they wanted to make it a reality. But for now, they knew they had to keep it secret since of course their dad and others would not understand what was going on if they found out. "Remember Kit," Melanie shushed Charlie, "We don't tell anyone okay?" Charlie just noddled as the two decided they should get ready for bedtime. Their dad didn't even have to tell them to go to bed that night and the two had the first truly good night in a few days. The next morning: Their dad was surprised by their changed and attitudes. They were back to their normal moods and playfulness, for which he was relieved. "What happened to you two last night?" Their dad asked, "You two were being so awkward yesterday but now, back to your old selves." "Mel and I had a few rough days at school," Charlie answered, "But we worked it out." The two kits nodded together as they went to take care of their morning routine. While everything was back to normal, the two kits knew that everything had changed...they just couldn't make it open to anyone so they had to work hard not reveal too much of the previous night's activities. The two happily toddled along to the bus, ready for a new day of school together. "So Charlie, did you read your sister's diary?" Kyle asked Charlie, his spotted tail wagging in interest. "I-I did," Charlie nodded, "I found out quite a bit about what she was thinking and I think we're both back to normal now." Charlie sighed in relief as Kyle noddled, also satisified that Charlie did at least read the diary. However, that sigh Charlie left started to make Kyle think that Charlie may have found out more about Melanie than he was leading on. He just wondered what was going on. Jessie was also relieved that Melanie was back to normal as well as the four climbed off and headed into school that day. Charlie and Melanie were feeling much happier now that a big cork was popped open. "See you at recess, Kit!" Melanie winked and smiled at Charlie as they went to class.
