Path 7-0: The Trickster

There was a Zoroark living in a tent concealed in a thicket within a deep, dark forest. It kept in the tent various treasures it had parted from those who had the misfortune of wandering near its territory. These treasures were whatever struck Zoroark's fancy at the time. Scarves, jewels, keys, a pair of glasses. This cunning fox Pokemon had separated treasures from many wandering intruders.

Today, Zoroark stretched and yawned amid its treasure hoard. The scarves and other soft things it had stolen were so comfy, and it felt content to relax there all morning. However, a rustling in the grass outside made Zoroark's ears prick up. "Hmmm, could be another rube with more goodies to snatch... Or perhaps a dissatisfied customer looking for payback..." it mused. Naturally, the owners of these objects tended to want them back. Especially those glasses. However, the crafty Zoroark had always managed to lead them away from its tent and sent them back frustrated and often a bit perplexed. Well, it would be a good idea to find out what was approaching, so Zoroark slowly crawled out of its tent.

"Well, good morning. I was about to wake you..." a female Pidgeotto whispered from its perch above Zoroark's tent. "Shh..." Zoroark replied, not wanting undue attention drawn to them. Pidgeotto sat back on her branch, looking down playfully. "One of these days you're gonna get caaaaaught..." she teased. Zoroark shooed her and snuck through the thicket toward the sound of the rustling grass, carefully peering to see what it might be. However, the sound suddenly stopped. Zoroark sniffed, trying to locate the intruder by scent. The fox's eyes went wide, as it realized the intruder was close... dangerously close. It'd have to think fast or risk getting caught!
