July 28, 2010 Three days into my search, I got lucky. All around me I noticed people crowding around TVs and grabbing newspapers as fast as they could. Slipping past the crowd invisibly, I grabbed a newspaper off the stand and quickly hid around the corner. Luckily, no one noticed. There on the front page was the headline: ANOTHER CREATURE FOUND: ARE WE BEING INVADED? The picture on the cover was one of an anthropomorphic cat. Apparently her name was Chette. She was taking up residence in Paris, and, if the article was to be believed, answering a lot of questions. The poor cat had to feel terrible. So many questions had to mean she was being bombarded by all kinds of media from around the world. The sensationalism of the headline didn't seem to help things. I felt a strong need to get over there and help what I felt was one of my own. My actions so far had not gone over well with the public in the States, yet I knew there had to be SOMEBODY who liked me. After all, I had just taken down an entire tyranny, hadn't I? The people in Darfur could work everything else out for themselves. I had provided the building block to a new civilization. Surely things would work out. I'm going to depart for France immediately.
