The most traumatic dream ever It's very rare I have a dream that nearly traumatizes me in the real world but this was just something else... I'm still slightly shook up over it, but I felt the best way to deal with it is to get it out in the open so here goes. Basically the dream was set in Taitō, Tokyo and I was some college drop out named Naoki who was dating this girl called Yumi for a long time now, she was a single mother who had a 10 year old son named Toshio and he was a real nintendo nut, and seeing as how Yumi had to work all the time I would stay in the apartment and babysit Toshio all day. We were really hitting it off and bonding, I'd make him noodles every evening and we would play mario kart wii or watch cartoons. It wasn't paradise but it was great. He was a really bright kid for his age and even though his mother would let him skip school all the time and leave him in the house by himself, I could tell he was gonna be something special someday. But anyway one day Yumi asked me to look after Toshio because her company was having this annual party of some kind, so I was like "Yeah, sure its no problem. I like looking after Toshio. He's like a little kid brother." But throughout the evening, Toshio was really starting to act up, crying constantly for his mother and insisting that she come home. I tried calling Yumi on her cell phone after I couldn't get him to calm down but it was switched off so in the end I just couldn't take his screaming anymore and I decided to just take him to her at the party, seeing as how it was only a few blocks away in Ueno Park. But when I got there I found her at the restaurant with her mother talking amongst the guests besides her, but before I could call out to her a guy came from the bar, sat besides her and gave her a kiss. Toshio ran up to her calling "Mommy!" to her and her mothers surprise while I just stood there in shock. Not only had Yumi been seeing another man behind my back but she had introduced him to her own family as her boyfriend, resulting in me being a complete stranger in the middle. So I went up to her and demanded an explanation as to why I'm being pawned off as a babysitter why she see's other people behind my back, but while we were arguing we notice Toshio has gone missing. Calling out for him we notice him wandering off towards the fountain out in the street but before we can catch up to him we both see him fall down a small open drainage pipe in the ground. Yumi screams for her son as I rush over, alerting the nearby authorities to get help, but he'd fallen so deep into the hole I can't even see him! All I remember at this point is yelling out his name, praying that he's alright while his mother is panicking for help, everyone else standing around the scene barely making an effort to help. The authorities warned me to wait for the trained professionals to arrive but I refused. The pipe was completely filled to the neck with water and I was determined to get him out at all cost. Hours had passed and the water had completely frozen solid, no sign of of a fire and rescue team in sight. I gave up waiting and decided to get him out myself. I put my hand in the ice and was pulling the ice out, layers at a time. Everyone was warning me to stop but I refused to listen to them. After 4 layers of ice blocks I could see Toshio's head looking up at me. I cried in relief as I tried to pull him out, but what happened next shocked me to the very depths of my soul, as when I tried to pull Toshio out of the hole, I had pulled out the top half of his head that was frozen solid in another layer of ice... the rest of his body had sunk to the bottom of the hole hours ago. I could not believe my very eyes... I could hear his mother screaming in the scenery, and me just staring at Toshio's head in complete shock, his frozen stare looking back at me. My knees just collapsed, I wasn't sure whether to scream or cry. The two officers reported the boy dead and tried to comfort me and Yumi, but how can you comfort witnessing the death of a ten year old like that... And to make matters worse, Tim Curry wouldn't stop throwing oranges at me! Why Tim Curry, Why??... Why are you throwing oranges at me, Why??...
