## Personality

Kval is Lyza's older brother.

After going cold-turkey, his personality changed in the most positive direction possible. He is caring and nurturing, and almost paternal in the way he treats his sister. He has a strong moral sense, but can never seem to show it in a serious way; often hiding behind jokes, sarcasm, or general sillyness.

His attitude and the way he feels is almost directly dependant upon his sister. To a fault, he does his absolute best to protect her and keep her happy. Though he may tease, he never chastises her, and will do nearly anything to help her work through her problems, no matter how trivial.

## Bio

Kval is the most perfect older brother a younger sister could ask for. He's kind, if a little heckling; smart, funny, encouraging, and always has time to talk, or play. He knows how to handle any situation, any problem, and answer any question, no matter how difficult.

But that is only recently. From sixth grade until his Sophomore year at high-school, Kval was an addict. His parents were aware, but he was crafty enough to not get straight-up caught, and after a while they became more concerned with finances and making ends meet. The only problem he ever had was with his little sister, who kept doing everything she could to prevent him from indulging in his habit. He made sure to teach her a harsh lesson every time.

But all that changed when one of his closest friends forced him to make a half-hearted promise, and promptly got himself shot in a drug trade. Feeling mortal and futile, Kval sobered up cold-turkey, and devoted his life to repenting for all the wrongs he committed against his younger sister. It's an ongoing ordeal, that he fully understands he may never be able to accomplish.
